Costco Optical

I had glasses for 6 years & was not that careful with them. They looked new & no scratches on the lenses. I get a new pair from Costco & use my old frame that I love and had issues with reading right away. The sweet spot is off but I let it go & just adjusted my glance. But in a month after using my new case faithfully and I only wear my glasses for an hour or 2 at bedtime I had a nick in the scratch resistant lens. The optical department says it was to old to help me ( 3 months) now on the same lens has all this pitting & its on my frame like they damaged the one side of my glasses & fiiled it in with clear coat & now it is failing a year later. One lens is perfect on one side the other lens is trashed... The case is fine no flaw to damage the lens that they gave me. It is not worth the lower cost if they do not stand behind their workmanship. Also my husbands lenses were off too. They tried to blame him but we had a second opinion that said the lenses were not correct from his prescription. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AVOID THE LOWER COST

Update again. Same 7/2026. Ungodly wait. The discount is paid for with your time. This place is unreal. 0 stars- just want lenses… would go anywhere but cost is way higher. New? Would never come here. Awful wait and frames are from 2005. Normally great. Last time it took forever to get help and the person seemed to know about as much as i did about glasses (not much). Update. Advice before embarking on a trip here. Eat before and bring a lunch. Wear comfortable shoes to stand around waiting. Each transaction appears to take 30-45 minutes. If you are 3 down in the queue, be ready for 60 minute or longer wait. Took a star back. Will pay more for speed.

I had a hard time adjusting to progressive eye glasses. I worked with Troy, the manager at the optical shop at Polaris. Troy was very patient with me and eventually we found a solution. I strongly recommend Costco Optical, they are professional and stand by their 100% satisfaction guarantee. They are also much less expensive than other shops.

I saw a female staff at the counter standing alone. I just asked her a simple question did they sell Ray Ban glasses. She yelled at me and asked me to write down my name and phone number.They should put up a big sign stating sign up to ask questions. She was very RUDE. Worst place to shop.

Dr. Ruth was awesome! He really cared about his patients and was very professional to perform my exam.
