Costco Optical

We were so grateful to find reasonably priced rx sunglasses here. The woman whose name starts with Ka (Kathy? Kari? Sorry I forgot!) was so friendly at pickup. Not 5 stars just because the three different men we interacted with there over multiple visits were unfriendly. But I would recommend Costco to anyone looking for a good deal on prescription glasses.

Mark, the optical manager, did not even want to do his job. Went to Hillsboro optical and said they can fit a prescription in the frame, but since I had issues with another frame that I bought at the Aloha location, was referred back to Aloha. Brought the same frame to this location said they were unable to do it and wasn't willing to even send it to the lab even though we told them the Hillsboro location said it was a valid frame - confirmed it was the same lab both Costcos would send it to. This attitude is unacceptable, especially from an individual working as a manager. This person is not qualified to be a manager, especially at a Costco.

Amber at the Beaverton Costco was incredibly helpful. She took the time to guide me through choosing frames for both regular glasses and sunglasses, carefully analyzing which rims best suited my face shape. Despite my toddler running around in the background, she was patient and thoughtful, offering suggestions on what to look for when selecting frames. She also explained the different lens coatings available for sunglasses and their durability, which was very informative. When I came back for pickup, Christy assisted me and was equally amazing. She verified everything, adjusted and tightened the frames, and handed me my glasses — all within a week of ordering. Beaverton Costco has a great collection of eyewear, and this isn’t my first time here. Their service keeps me coming back!

Went in this evening to get my glasses adjusted. Wilson was kind of enough to offer his expertise in adjusting my glasses. Awesome job he did to adjust both of my glasses. He definitely was the MVP! Top notch customer service and quality of work. Definitely will come back again!

My search for a reliable, knowledgeable, and personable ophthalmologist ended here yesterday. Dr. Victoria Nguyen took me in and performed a long overdue exam, which provided me with updated conditions of my sight, as well as peace of mind about my new provider! I am confident not only that new glasses will improve my sight, but I now know about some existing issues with my eyes which she can monitor in exams to come. It is thrilling to watch a new generation of caring young doctors and assistants stepping up to fill the needs of many of us older people! Thank you, Dr. Nguyen, and thank you, Clear Vision Optical!
