Costco Optical

Very patient and kind staff. Negative reviews are referring to the optical sales area, not the independent optometrist in the store. The doctor gave my wife a very positive experience, enough to say that she’ll be coming back here. Very considerate as well, the first optometrist to ask my wife if “we can dilate your eyes” instead of doing it anyway without caring if she had to drive or if she came here alone. Overall a great experience and very solid. The girls in the eye exam office were great.

My third (or 4th?) experience here and so far so good! Front staff in the optometrist's clinic was friendly and helpful, and huge kudos to Kevin Trang, O.D. for his expert, comprehensive eye exam and attentive, patient help, especially as I have a chronic eye condition. Finally, Chip at the optical dept was super helpful, genial and efficient, and he finished everything up in very good time!

Not been a great experience. Had to wait 2 hours for eye exam even with prior appointment. The vision field test had to be repeated as it was not done properly. Getting a report that I needed to share with my PCP is proving quite painful. They will not send via email and I have to go back to Costco to pick it up. They are supposed to call me and let me know once it is ready for pickup but so far its been a week and nobody's called. Nobody replies to emails or picks up phone calls! This is a disaster!

I cannot say enough about the optical department at the Lynnwood Costco. The exam was on time (actually early because a very kind person let me take their earlier appointment), thorough, and my prescriptions are perfect. I've had previous experiences elsewhere where the prescriptions weren't right and I wasted $$$ on frames and lenses. I was able to get 4 gorgeous frames for under $300. What?! Yes. My review wouldn't be complete without mentioning Bernie. Bernie helped me pick out my frames and each one he recommended was spot on. He took his time and was so knowledgeable. I had to pick out frames for reading, computer, and distance and who knew, each frame had different criteria! Bernie is a rockstar and I would highly recommend him. Thank you Lynnwood Costco Optical! I'm sold.

Optometrist was great and very thorough with my child's exam. Finally had an optometrist listen and able to answer issues I had seen with my child's eyesight vs previous optometrists other places that continued to write off the issue or ignored me when I had questions. Front desk folks were friendly and kind. Staff helping with frames were helpful in picking out well fitting frames and answered questions kindly. Glasses came quickly with no adjustments needed. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
