Costco Optical

Heather at the Costco Optical Department helped us out immensely! I've visited three times, and unfortunately the first two times the two females that helped me seemed annoyed and extremely disinterested in assisting me. This last time, Heather was helpful, thorough, and spent time helping us figure out our insurance. Greatful for her customer service and kindness!

Very unprofessional experience. When we asked the tall, white female associate at the front of Optical about specific popular designer brands they carry, she had never heard of them and laughed. For an employee working in the Optical Department, her lack of knowledge and dismissive attitude were completely inappropriate.

The Puyallup Optical Department is fantastic. I have purchased four pairs of glasses here, and the staff is consistently friendly and informative. I typically require frame adjustments since I like a tight fit, and Sean has nailed the adjustments every single time.

First of all, thank you for being helpful and having reasonable glasses prices. The next part, I hope someone from Costco reads as constructive criticism in order to find a better way. After you order their glasses, they text you with instructions to pick them up from a locker in the store. It should be pretty convenient, but in actuality it was unnecessarily inconvenient. I recommend picking your glasses up from the locker immediately upon entering the store. Then take them over to the optical counter to have them adjusted. Don't plan on shopping first. I did my shopping and picked up the glasses after paying because the locker is on the other side of the registers where you go after you pay. Then I had a helpful employee come over and tell me I should go get them adjusted, which I clearly needed when I tried them on. Had to wait in the receipt check line. Go back through the IN door where I got weird looks from the door employee. Got my glasses adjusted in less than 2 minutes and tried to head back out the way I came in. Same door employee wouldn't let me out. Made me walk all the way over to the registers, go through the registers area, go back around, and wait in the exit line again where I had to explain why my receipt was already checked. I assume as long as customers are in the store picking up glasses, Costco would like us to be shopping as well. Please come up with a more convenient way to do both.

Just received AMAZING service from Stefan in Optical Shop in Bonney Lake. He was so friendly and very efficient! He explained everything thoroughly. I can't say enough about his customer service. And the big bonus was that I received 3 pairs of glasses (one was prescription sunglasses) for $700 less than what the other Optical shop wanted to charge me for just one pair of glasses! I feel likenI hit the jackpot!! Thank you Stefan and thank you Costco! Angel
