Costco Optical

I had a great experience at the Bellingham Costco Optical Department. I'm still pretty new to wearing glasses, so getting progressive Transition lenses felt a little intimidating, but the whole process was easy. The electronic check-in was simple, and I was helped right away. Patrick was fantastic. He was patient, knowledgeable, and helped me find frames that looked good and fit my needs. He mentioned he has over 30 years of experience, and it really showed. He took his time and made sure every detail was right. I expected getting glasses at Costco to be a little chaotic, but it was the opposite—friendly, professional, and about half the price of my eye doctor's office. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I went to get a set of nice pair of frames today, very efficient. A nice employee, Anne, helped me. She was very sweet and had great attention to detail. She also is a wonderful conversationalist. I felt very welcome despite me being very socially awkward. I hope Anne gets a raise. She deserves it.

I went to drop off my prescription and get new glasses today, and I had an amazing experience with Vanessa who really took the time to understand my needs, explain the process, and engage with me as a customer with humor and professionalism. I appreciate her hard work and my experience overall with my purchase.

My daughter is begging me to leave this review! She is 10 years old and a first time contact lenses wearer and her and her dad would not stop praising this eye dr Dr Evans!! She was so nervous and he made her feel SO comfortable! He was very patient and made sure she knew she had a choice in the matter and that he wouldn’t put the contacts in if she didn’t want him to. Such a good doctor and so was the girl who was there too, I can’t say enough good things and I feel so grateful that he was my kiddos first eye doctor for contacts. 100000/10 recommend!! Also love that the price is so reasonable for not needing insurance! Love love love would totally go again and will continue to go here as long as we live here because they are SO nice!

Well, I can't attest to the actual optometrist, but I have been trying to schedule an appointment for weeks. The very first time I called, I got the receptionist and she basically told me they don't ever schedule less than two weeks out because they're so busy. I told them fine, that would be very difficult for me to schedule with work and school starting soon, but I'd call them back... I have been trying to get ahold of them for WEEKS. I leave messages, and I'm never called back. The professionalism of this office is completely lacking.
