I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Costco Optometry in El Centro, CA. I scheduled my appointment well in advance on 8/18 or 8/19 for Saturday, 8/23, due to insurance and doctor availability. I arrived 20 minutes early at 4:10 PM to check in, and by 4:20–4:25 PM I was called in for the initial tests. I expected to be seen by the doctor shortly after, as my appointment was for 4:30 PM. Instead, I ended up waiting over 45 minutes—wandering between the frames section and sitting in the front chairs—without any update or explanation. The area near the entrance was uncomfortably warm, adding to the frustration. Despite being told multiple times that I was next, I was never seen. At 5:20 PM, I had no choice but to cancel my appointment. This experience made me feel that patients who schedule appointments in advance are not respected or valued. It seems clear that overbooking is a problem here, and the lack of organization and communication is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution anyone considering this location. Management should seriously reevaluate how appointments are handled—this was not just inconvenient, it was a complete waste of my time.

No respect for the patient's time. Don't go to this place. The doctor does not respects the appointments. Horrible.
