I have been seeing 👀 Dr Rienders for about 5 years. He is the best, friendly, knowledgeable about everything, professional and he will tell you exactly what you need. I met Dr. Board for the first time, she is wonderful, kind, intelligent and professional. And we can't forget about the important people that run the office! Everyone is professional of course. They make me feel welcome to be part of their day. So friendly and kind. This is a great place to take your eyeballs to!

Great experience! Very clean, friendly staff, quick but thorough. During a short 5 minute wait period, the doctor put on educational videos about the eyes - next level service that made the wait fly by! Loved that during the benefit overview I was given multiple options and didn’t feel pressured in any way. Highly recommend.
Shout out to Dr. Steve Reinders and his great team! I had an urgent eye issue over the weekend that made me very worried. Within a few hours, Dr. Steve was able to see me for an urgent appointment to provide much-needed reassurance (on a Sunday, no less)! This type of high-level care cannot be found just anywhere. Thank you for your expertise and your concern to diagnose the new flashes and floaters I had developed to rule out a more serious retinal tear. You’ve more than earned our family’s business and we will be back for our continued eye care in the future. Highly recommend. Many thanks!!!
Because Dr. Reinders is a personal friend, it is easy to express my appreciation of his work and might be considered overly gratuitous to review him in such a complimentary fashion, but in this case, which involves Angle Closure Glaucoma, I must be candid and truthful. His office truly deserves my sincere praise and admiration. As my friend and personal optometrist, Steve was aware of my struggling eye sight and occasional eye pain. Over a period of a couple weeks he had me dutifully stop in to his Prior Lake office for eye pressure checks and tests as he closely observed my vision changes and condition. One afternoon while near his local office, with moderate pain in one eye, and in spite of my hesitation to again bother him, I walked into his office very late in the afternoon, unannounced, explaining the eye pain to Ashley and Jennifer. Because Steve was at the Elko New Market office, Dr. Sarah Board and Jennifer quickly ran tests on me and determined that urgent action was needed as my eye pressure was far exceeding a normal range. After contacting Steve, he immediately drove to the Prior Lake office and in doing so called his ophthalmologist colleagues in hopes of getting an urgently-needed appointment for me. Because it was after 5 p.m. Dr. Reinders then made immediate arrangements with the emergency room at U of M Hospitals for urgent admittance. Steve not only personally drove me to the hospital but he stayed at my bedside in ER and then in my room from approximately 6 p.m. until 12:15 in the morning as I struggled with severe pain. After departing, Dr. Reinders was successful in arranging for me to have immediate eye surgery at 8 a.m. the next morning to alleviate the severe pain and damage resulting from the very unusual condition of Angle Closure Glaucoma. His efforts resulted in the excellent procedures he and his colleagues performed over a three week period to address this serious condition and ensure the long term quality of my vision. My pal. Of course. And there are great eye doctors in our community but Dr. Steve Reinders has demonstrated that he goes beyond the call of duty for his patients. I’m proof. Ray J Joachim Prior Lake
We love this clinic and we are thrilled about them opening a practice right in Elko New Market. My family put their trust in this practice years ago. As a grown adult, we moved back to the area, and now how put our family’s trust in their practice. We love Dr.Steve! He is awesome! He is thorough, and always asks all the questions that I have. I am awful about picking out a pair of glasses by my self. But the staff? Amazing! They always help me find the perfect fit. We have such great conversations, and of course some Chuckles in between. I 100% would recommend this practice to our family, friends, and community members!
