This place called and messaged me over 30 times in one week to remind me of my upcoming visit. I got my daughter up, left work early, and drove all the way there to be told there is no doctor available and that the appointment will need to be cancelled. They should've called to cancel in advance verses wait for me to get there. Second time they cancelled the visit in a week upon my arrival.

10/10 do not recommend. Katie at the Alton location adds charges and things you did not consent to onto your insurance plans then laughs about it when confronted about it. They were suppose to reimburse me the money to fix my flex spending account but still have yet to receive that. No call backs or anything. They will never receive my business again after this.

In the 20+ years I've been purchasing glasses on my own as an adult, this was hands down the best experience I've encountered. This particular purchase was utilizing vision insurance I was about to loose as I had recently become unemployed. Knowing that I had a tight budget, the ladies in the office made it happen regardless. All of them were so kind and helpful, especially when it came to helping select frames. They really found frames that fit the shape of my face and character. They weren't just trying to push off something and be done with it as all too often is the experience elsewhere. The staff really went above and beyond to cater to the customer. When two final selections were picked, they even called in some reinforcements for a final opinion. Having not been to this location in several years, other than to browse in years past, I really didn't know what to expect. In just a little over an hour, I had an eye exam, frames that matched the budget I wanted to maintain and a great overall experience. The glasses were ready in about two weeks and fit almost perfectly the first time they were put on. Thanks ladies ! ! !

Great friendly well respected staff greets & welcomes u as u wlk thru tha door great service well decent prices on glasses they can also work out payment arrangements as well wit u if u can not afford glasses out rite i would most definitely recommend this eye glass store to anyone including my family & friends as well will most definitely recommend others to this store

I’ve made appointments with them and have shown up to several patients waiting outside with the doors locked and closed as we all were confused considering we had appointments. Another day they made me sit and wait for 45 mins after my appointment and never even asked for my name. Now everytime I make an appointment for me and my two children they cancel it. Not to mention the place has leaking ceilings and floors coming up. We will never come here again.
