My 94 year old mother was scheduled for an injection in her eye in Sumterville on Oct. 6, 2025. When we arrived for the appointment she was told by Dr. Bernstein that he couldn’t do the injection because the office didn’t have any betadine. My mother’s appt was rescheduled for the following week October 13th and the injection was done. At that time an appointment was made for today, November 24, 2025 at 3:15pm. At 12:45pm I received a call from the Sumterville location that my mom couldn’t get her injection today because they didn’t have the supply for the injection. The person calling said she had placed an order today for the injection and that it would not be available until December 22, 2025, almost a month from now. That would mean my mom would go 10 weeks between injections. I’m not sure if that is a problem or not. I wasn’t able to talk to Dr. Bernstein because I could get anyone to answer the phone at Sumterville. I was able to get my mom an appointment at the Crystal River location for Dec. 2nd. Needless to say she won’t be going back to the Sumterville location. They seem to have a problem there with ordering supplies

Don't go here! My parents went for exams and the staff seems unqualified to practice. There is a certificate on the wall, but we are not sure if this place is legit. Taking them to a different eye Dr. for a complete exam. Very strange experience.
