Doctors are fine. All staff is fine. People on the phone are nice. Hardly ever have to wait. Why only a 3 star? stupidest portal ever. First ,I couldn't schedule a certain appointment on line. Then when I did , and discussed how the date had to be after Dec4, the person made an error with the date- ( which can happen) put July instead of Dec. Then when I had to call to explain what happened, that the scheduler had made a mistake- this is what shows up on Cancel reason. "cancel Reason: Patient" Nope- cancel reason- staff error. I'm sure that's not an option. There are other reasons it's a dumb portal

The receptionist in suite 201 is very personable and kind I truly appreciate how she’s helped me navigate things. Not only that I get appointments here almost next day every time and I’m seen by physicians who are so easy to talk to and prioritize education not only that but they often call themselves to follow up on many things instead of just having a nurse call. I honestly can’t imagine a bad review here but as someone who actually understands the health care system this place is wonderful.

Saw NP Tetler 1/2025 for thyroid - blood panel, sonogram. She had a zoom with me to go over the results. Returned 3/2/2026, having checked into any abnormal levels in my initial blood panel, as I was increasingly symptomatic throughout 2025. I asked if it wouldn’t be prudent to test for Grave’s disease, as the blood panel showed low TSH. She listed many reasons why it would not likely be Grave’s disease. When I received my blood results, I checked it over for abnormalities, my TSH had dropped further, from .33 to .02. To my surprise, instead of a zoom or call with NP Tetler, an assistant called to let me know my results came back fine. I asked to have NP Tetler call me to go over the results. When I didn’t get a call that day, I left a message requesting a call back twice a day after that. Finally, I called my insurance provider to make an appointment with another healthcare professional. I let them know why I was seeking another endocrinology appointment—45 minutes later, a positive TSI finding was added to my blood panel in “mychart,” confirming Grave’s Disease. She never called back to go over the results at any point. If I didn’t research all of this myself I would have no idea that I have anything wrong at all. Point is- don’t take anyone’s word for anything, look into things yourself, advocate for yourself. Personally, I won’t be back at these big groups…for the same reason I don’t go to dealerships for service. It is my personal belief that they purposely don’t tell you something’s wrong until it’s super expensive to fix.

Hands-down, the worst medical care we have ever received anywhere in the United States! Doctors are routinely an hour or more late for appointments scheduling that appointment takes weeks tests or orders results are posted and doctors never follow up with the patient to discuss results your left on your own. Incorrect test results from other people are posted to your account. These people are a lawsuit waiting to happen. We have heard similar horror stories from other patients who have also moved on to doctors that are not as overbooked and empathetic and actually care about their patients. Do not go here. And do not respond to this message because anything you have to say is going to be a joke just like your entire practice.

I am writing this to warn other families about the severe lack of care my grandmother received from Dr. Lesner (Electrophysiologist) and Dr. Winchester Penny (Cardiologist) at Crystal Run Healthcare in Middletown, NY. My grandmother had been a patient of Dr. Penny for over 30 years, yet her incredibly unsafe heart rhythms and abnormal EKGs were completely ignored. Despite having a hospital visit in December for severe issues—including long pauses, bradycardia, SVTs, and multiple complex rhythm abnormalities—Dr. Lesner completely blew off the concerns of the patient, my mother, and myself. He told us she wouldn't need a pacemaker for another year. Thankfully, we relocated and took her to a new electrophysiologist in Georgia. The new doctor looked at her records and was appalled, stating she should have had a pacemaker put in six months ago. Her condition was treated with the urgency it required, and she had a pacemaker implanted just one day after her new consultation. Dr. Lesner and Dr. Penny could have cost my grandmother her life due to their negligence and dismissive attitudes. If your loved one has serious heart issues, please get a second opinion outside of this practice.
