For a small vision business they do not treat their customers with understanding and respect. I work in a small retail business and my hours I worked were never consistent. I had to reschedule the first time because of work, then they called me and told me that it was too soon to be seen that insurance wouldn’t cover it. Then the worker acted like it was my fault for not knowing when insurance would cover the visit. The third time I had to reschedule my appointment because my son was sick, the front desk worker then told me that the Dr. didn’t want to see me as a patient anymore, because I have tried to reschedule to many times. I then asked to speak with the Dr. And she told me that he didn’t want to speak with me. I’m on the phone crying trying to understand how I could be kicked out of an eye dr. for rescheduling to much. So then I say well my daughter goes here as well does that mean she is kicked out as well and the worker tells me as long as she doesn’t reschedule her appointments. Things in life come up, the 2nd time was the front desk workers fault for not catching insurance coverage. When we first had our appointments they were offering a warranty on glasses, you pay $10 and they will cover your glasses 1 time if they break. My daughter got her brand new glasses and the next week she had broken them, she’s also 8 and is very active. When I went back to the office to get a replacement they stated that I didn’t have the warranty and that I would have to pay out of pocket for a new pair. I went home and got my receipt from the warranty, then the front desk worker got an attitude with me about having to order her a new pair of glasses the exact ones. They stated that all of there glasses are one of a kind and they never have multiples of a pair. I do not recommend them at all! We are all humans and we can’t help when things come up, I have never heard of ANY business kicking someone out because of that. Like you said you are a small business and you can do whatever you want, leaving loyal customers blind.
