When no one else would see me, Dr. Shim and the team at Dalton Optometry said, “Bring him in now.” Those words made all the difference. After getting something in my eye on Sunday, I went to the emergency room Monday morning. I was told the object had been removed, but by the time I reached home, the pain was even worse. My wife called several eye clinics, and Dalton Optometry was the only one willing to help immediately. Dr. Shim discovered a torn cornea and worked with her staff and my insurance company to secure approval for a corneal membrane graft. She performed the procedure that day, and within hours, I was feeling better and seeing more clearly.
