As an Executive member this is a great place to spend a lot of money. Love making a trip every now and then to stock the pantry and the freezer. Parking at this location kinda sucks honestly. We hope the new location has a covered executive member only parking area with valet service. Grab an all beef hot dog, slice of pizza and a drink for under $4... you will shop off all the calories. Tire center at this location too. Gas pump line moves pretty quick as long as the gold members dont mess it up. The gas hoses are long enough that you can reach your gas door from either side. Get the Citi Bank Costco card to get rewards and real cash back.

This is for the Newport News VA gas station. I posted yesterday that I found out after I got gas that other stations were the same price. I thought Costco hadn't adjusted its price yet. This morning I take the other car and get gas. Then I find out Kroger and Sunoco have the same price and Wawa is $0.02 less per gallon. Costco gas station is very clean, efficient, nice long hose. I go there for the price.

This establishment is a disgrace. The unprofessional workers here act like they are teenagers that just got their phone taken away. On top of that the inside of the store is unorganized, and dirty. The food is bad. The baking potatoes were rotten, so many bags were stinky and don’t even get me started on the flies. I have been a faithful customer for 20+ years. I have been to multiple Costcos in and out of the country and this is the worst by far. This location sucks.

Very pleasant greeter at the entrance tonight. Always a super busy store. But we'll worth the visits. Many great purchase options. Parking can be crazy but there are other good retail stores adjacent to the Costco Warehouse. It pays just to take your time to find a parking spot and try to just relax about it.

This evening, I shopped at this location and had a very uncomfortable experience at self checkout. My mother tried to use tap to pay, but it wasn’t working. We asked an associate for help, and instead of being patient, she became visibly irritated when my mom didn’t immediately hand over her phone. My mom was actively trying to fix the issue herself. The associate walked away with an attitude and was no longer friendly. I then asked another employee for help because the register was blinking and beeping. I explained that I would just pay with my own card instead. He briefly showed me something on the screen and walked away, but the register continued blinking and would not reset. When I asked for help again, I overheard one employee say to another, “Are you going to go help her? I’m not going over there.“ Both employees then stood there and did nothing. Eventually, I was able to complete my purchase. At the exit, the employee checking receipts did not speak to me at all. He silently reached for my receipt, looked at me in a way that felt accusatory, handed it back, and said nothing. It made me feel like I was being treated as if I had done something wrong, when the only issue was a malfunctioning tap-to-pay system. If I’m spending close to $200 every time I shop, I expect basic courtesy and customer service. This location is already crowded, hard to park at, and stressful. Being treated rudely on top of that makes it hard to justify coming back. I don’t feel my business was appreciated, and I’ll likely shop elsewhere unless there are improvements.
