I don’t typically give bad reviews, but people like me who are careful with out-of-pocket expenses need to know. As a new patient in March, I was in awe of how efficiently run this office was and I loved my doctor, Dr. Nguyen…until the bill came. I went in for my annual exam but I was charged for a diagnostic exam instead of a routine one. That is not what I asked for as a new patient & the bill was $300 so I contacted them at least 5 times (up through now in July) to get to the right person to change bill to my annual/routine . They refused to correct the bill routine annual exam, which would have been fully covered by my medical insurance—even the diagnostics. Now that I am out $300 and all the time spent asking them to set this straight, I will be looking for a new eye doctor with a team that properly cares for a patient’s time and money. Let me know if you recommend anyone!

Everyone at Delaware Eye Clinic is professional and friendly. They have all of the equipment to fully evaluate and treat my condition. I feel I am receiving excellent care! Their commitment to caring shows the true culture of this practice. Special call-out to Dr. Timothy Smith who takes the time to review and explain everything without making me feel rushed. I truly appreciate everyone I’ve been in contact with and fully recommend them.

What is as important to me as the level of care from my Dr. is the experience with the staff. From the front desk checking in to the tech preparing the testing. My entire experience at Delaware Eye Clinic was really pleasant as well as being respectful of my time. I know I was in good hands!

I am very happy with this practice. I had cataract surgery in 2020 and it was delayed for obvious reasons. I was practically blind by then and almost jumped off the stretcher in recovery to dance! Subsequent visits have been great. Everybody is nice and professional and Dr. Smith is fabulous. He comes in with a smile, explains everything, and makes you feel like you’re in good hands. I definitely recommend!

The entire staff was friendly & thorough. I am a new patient & it was my 1st visit. I am Grateful to the eye center who helped me pick out new glasses. They were extremely helpful. Was a good overall experience.
