Delaware Eye Institute

It was my first time visiting Delaware Eye Institute, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional. Gina performed my eye exam and immediately made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Dr. Schmidt then reviewed the results and performed some additional testing. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful, and took the time to explain what may or may not be necessary now versus what I may need to consider down the road. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I’m very happy I chose Delaware Eye Institute and have already scheduled my follow-up for next year. I highly recommend them!

I really didn't wait long at all. The front office staff were very helpful. One was in training but had an experienced staff member next to her helping her along.The technicians were wonderful, friendly and professional. The doctor was great, with a suggestion for a new medication.

Recently had eye surgery done by Dr. Ross and it was wonderful from beginning to end from my initial consultation to the surgery. Little more than a week out and I am feeling wonderful! Dr. Ross and his staff (office and surgical) are top notch. Highly recommend C. Hunt

Excellent customer service. I really appreciated how clearly and simply the doctor explained my eye condition in detail. They took the time to answer my questions and made sure I understood my diagnosis and the next steps. I felt well cared for throughout the visit.

Obviously Delaware Eye Institute is very popular! Once you get checked in the process becomes warmer. Everyone is very professional and nice and Dr Schmidt is kind as is his group of assistants. Checking out leaves a bad taste as they no longer have the checkout before you leave the Doctors side of the office so everyone checking in mixes in with everyone checking out. I was in a line of 10 patients waiting to check out. Maybe they could utilize an assistant to the dr to schedule your future appointment and give a copy of any prescription needed.
