It’s not what they say, but how they say it. This staff gives off some SERIOUSLY condescending vibes, all the way from the receptionist, the social worker, to the doctor herself. When I had my appointment with my significantly disabled daughter, the moment the doctor walked in the room, she looked at her sippy cup and said “What’s in it.” “Juice.” Then she went into a rant about how parents were giving their children too much sugar and how they should drink nothing but water. She insisted, in that moment, if I just gave her nothing but water that day, she would likely drink it. My daughter is significantly disabled (nonverbal, in a wheelchair, sensory issues) and we struggle to get her to drink water without throwing it. It’s all over her medical charts, because we stayed in the hospital for a week (she has seizures, so this happens often) because doctors kept trying to give her water and she refused to take it. She was on IVs until a nurse finally gave her some apple juice. It’s not that what the doctor said was wrong or incorrect, but goodness maybe we could look at charts to get a backstory before we go into rants? Not to mention, we have a kid with significant disabilities and this is an intake/first appointment… Why we shaming kids and parents the first two minutes upon introduction? Isn’t there a lot more important things to spend 10 minutes lecturing and ranting about? And it wasn’t even this singular incident. It was multiple incidents of someone talking over me, or talking down on me, or being condescending that just makes me want to stay far away from this clinic entirely. Even phone calls end up with me hanging up or needing to step out to get a breather, especially when I explain I get overstimulated and they KEEP pushing a topic that doesn’t matter/isn’t helpful or just straight up don’t listen to what you’re trying to say to them. We’ve had a doctor we used for over 5-6 years previously, and just moved to this city a month ago looking for new care. Daughter has an extremely rare condition, so we constantly have appointments every week. I’ve NEVER see a clinic this judgmental before despite the many offices and clinics we both visit for our disabilities. I was really close and friendly with our last specialists and clinics, and it sucks I couldn’t have this experience with them too. Just stay out of here if you get triggered easily like me, because these guys are going to make you leave wishing you never came.

Today I didn’t have the best experience here. I usually do but today was not it. I had gotten there a little earlier than what my appointment was scheduled at. No issues appointment went smooth. It’s more so after. We had labs and were told 2 people were in front of us. And they would let the labs know. Now as the 2 people went a little time went by and I was like why hasn’t anyone called for labs. I went and checked and supposedly the person had went home for the day. Now I’m sitting here like huh. And the lady is gonna tell me after 10 min im suppose to come and ask. lol why would I ask if yall knew I was there for labs? I spent about 3 hours here my morning into my afternoon. All because they forgot I was there for labs. No excuses for being short. You knew a person was waiting and neglected to check on the person. Thank you for that. Not only was my child very uncomfortable waiting there for another hour. I was very uncomfortable for I skipped breakfast to make it early for my appointment. Just for someone to forget that me and my daughter were there to get blood drawn to make sure she was okay. Now I will have to wait until next week for today was my only day off for the week.
This is a nice place to bring your children for various needs. They have a large waiting area and it is nice and clean.
Such a great pediatrics office. The office is big, spacious, and clean. There's plenty of parking. I am a HUGE fan of Ms. TASKINA CHOWDHURY PNP. The service she provides is very helpful, and she's very down to earth. Service wait time is very quick. Front staff check-in is very polite and quick as well. I'm very grateful I found this office!
If your child is sick and you need an appt don’t bother calling ….No one ever answers !!!! they just sit and chit chat but don’t answer phone calls so please save yourself a headache and look for another place for your child’s health and wellness.
