DePoe Eye Center

Many thanks to the DePoe Eye Center (near Publix on Bowman Road) for the wonderfully thorough eye exam I had yesterday, and for the staff member who helped me choose new eye glasses. Everyone on their staff is very cheerful, welcoming, professional and timely in person and over the phone. Dr. Earle and her assistant did a wonderful job explaining everything about the exam to me, including how to heal a stye that just began a couple days earlier. At Dr. Earle's recommendation, I used just a warm compress and OcuSoft lid scrub wipes 3 times/day, and after just one day the stye is nearly drained and gone. I highly recommend DePoe Eye Center!

Dr. Earls is the BEST!!! Not only is she knowledgeable and highly qualified in her field, but she is compassionate and seems to genuinely care for my well-being and eye health. I trust her completely and recommend her whole-heartedly.

The facility was clean, I didn't feel rushed . Every staff member I encountered was polite . She did an awesome job with the exam for me and my daughter and was very thorough. The choice of frames was stylish . I definitely recommend

Wonderful staff and very professional doctor as well. They treat their patients with respect and are courteous and always pleasant. The doctor listens to us and explains things in a way that we can understand. The office itself is clean and all of the exam rooms and equipment are sterilized. We always look forward to our appointments.

Very disappointed and had high hopes because I had heard the doctor was so good. Unfortunately I never got to see her. . First appointment was cancelled due to their staffing so I rescheduled. When I arrived, I was told that I had to do a mandatory test to be seen which was an extra $39. This was not explained to me when I made the appointment. This test , OPTUS is not covered by insurance. I was also asked to give my medical insurance card “just in case” there was something that they could bill to my medical insurance. This is in addition to my optical insurance. I left before being seen due to the additional charges and trying to add on charges to my medical insurance.
