Excellent service Dr Marra and his Tech exceptional the rest of staff accomdating and friendly So knowledgeable they all are he the Doctor very patient very willing to answer a variety of questions and I'm one to ask them. The female tech so friendly and definitely knows what she is doing (I am a Mother of a older Opthalmic Tech who retired after working for a Dr Hill quite a few years back and also sold and tweeked prescriptions as necessary on many glasses) I say this young would be just as knowlegable as to my Daughter was and did similar job for 15 years) So feel confident when you book a appointment

Awful experience with this place. Terrible service and a lame selection of frames. I ended up wasting a lot of time and money (almost $400) on a pair of glasses that I haven't worn at all. The first Dr gave me a wrong prescription. After being hurried to pick out frames from their very limited and lame selection, I ended up with a pair that I absolutely hate. And, it took forever to get them. I had to keep calling, with no one calling back. Samantha could not have been less helpful. I'm now stuck using my old glasses with my old prescription for another 2 years. I'll update this if they do anything to resolve my bad experience. UPDATE: 7/18/26 - The owner posted a reply for me to contact them and resolve my issues. It now appears the owner has deleted that response, and I can see why. I called the Speedway location where I had the bad experience, and I was immediately shuffled to their East Side location. I had to call twice to get someone on the line. Jackie answered, and proceeded to make me an "offer" that would basically cost me a lot more money, and make even more profit for Desert Eye. She then said that a "Director" of the company, Christina, based in the Green Valley location, would be calling me to help resolve my problem. I finally received a call that went to voicemail. I have called back 3 times, but no one answers. I left a message each time. I'm fed up, and guess this is going nowhere. I've tried wearing the ultra cheap frames they sold me. Seriously, they must have cost them $5 from China. These are the frames that I used my $200 vision insurance credit on. The picture I just posted shows what these frames are doing to my ear. Notice the dark red mark where the temple of the frame rests on my ear. It's painful, and I have to use something to shield my ear from the frame. I paid them an exorbitant amount for the lenses, almost twice what my lenses cost from somewhere else about 18 months ago. This is a travesty, and I'm disgusted by the lack of sincere interest from Desert Eye Associates to rectify the situation. Go ANYWHERE else for your glasses. I will repost if their is any serious response from them, but I'm not counting on it at this point. They have shown their true colors...

Recently I visited Desert Eye on Speedway for an update on my glasses with a new prescription. Samantha’s very good at helping me find the right frames with the lens I need. She was so helpful in determining what transition lens would be appropriate for me too! Samantha is always professional and pleasant. This is a great place to go shopping for glasses because of her care in this department. Thank you for the excellent service I received Samantha! Definitely 5 stars!

This post is way over due. My wife and I as well as our daughter for many years. For that relationship ended when my wife retired at the end 2025. Our new insurance we purchased does not cover this office or eye doctor's. Dr Parks was our daughter's eye doctor long before he and associates started being my wife and I. I have to say ( I'm really bad with names , just am ). All my visits, interaction with staff, and eye maintenance were great considering what I'm reviewing lol. But I really want to share my feelings about Dr Carman Felix fellowship Train Cornea Specialist. Can you say AWESOME ! Really , both eyes of mine were lucky and honored that our paths crossed thru insurance ( city insurance at that ). I had cataracts on both eyes . My rock star of cataracts took care of both of my greeneyes and I still see without those annoying floaters in my vision. But there's a funny with this story. When I got my first eye done, I thought they put you to sleep. So I'm lying down on surgical bed in regular hospital fashioned clothes, early I mean early morning. I have my head propt so I could look out the door until our wonderful doctor appears. Appeared she did in total rock fashion . Dr Carman Felix slides in the hall and stop right at the door, and says good morning Mr Pfeifer are you ready for your surgery. I said yes begrudgingly. In my head I'm like thinking OK I have 2 eyes so if this takes a bad turn, I'll still have one. I didn't look anything up. I just showed up. So everything is getting as it should for the doctor start. My eyes are numb I have these super bright lights in my eye/eyes and the doc starts doing her thing and I start saying over and over But I'm awake But I'm awake ! I'm so dumb. lol. If you ever need attention for cataracts Dr Carman Felix is your specialist. None better,no reason to search anymore. Dr Carman Felix in my opinion the Best no doubt. Thank you again to all the staff and doctor's . Personal Note: Stay away from AUTOMOTIVE & DIESEL Performance/Repair :

Desert Eye Associates always provides excellent care from a number of different doctors and an efficient, friendly staff. They have been our opthamologists for more than 20 years. My vision is still excellent following cataract surgeries that were done two decades ago. First rate in every way.
