I've been coming to Dewinter Eyecare for years. Even before they moved to this new spacious facility. I have always found the staff to be helpful, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Dewinter is passionate about providing the best possible eye healthcare. I have always been able to ask questions about the process, the tools, and the results. He is always willing to take time to make sure that I am absolutely comfortable.
I recently moved to the area from out of state and accidentally bent my glasses and broke the frame. I called my old eye doctor and they were of no help. So I stopped in at Dewinter and they were very helpful. Since they did not work with that manufacturer they could not order a new frame, but they took the time to straighten the frame and gave me a recommendation on how I could glue them to have a temporary fix. They were very friendly and did not even charge me for their time spent straightening the frame. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of eyecare.
Good doctors and assistants but they are nearly double the cost of any competing eye care center in the area. Also, they do NOT correspond via email. They will mail you paperwork or it can be picked up at their office. No email. I’m still having trouble digesting that. I had to make a thirteen mile round trip to pick up a receipt. C’mon, Dewinter…get with the program.
Excellent Experience with Rory!! Rory was absolutely wonderful to work with! He’s incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything clearly and thoughtfully. His customer focus truly stands out — he’s super friendly, patient, and genuinely cares about providing the best experience possible and he was great on following up and following through!
