I had lenses done here in 2023 following multiple bad experiences at other offices, so I decided to return this year for my annual exam and new glasses. Unfortunately, this place is just as bad, if not worse than the others. The woman who works the counter is friendly, but there is a very obvious language barrier and she kept asking for a prescription when I was trying to schedule an exam. Showed up for my appointment, again she kept asking for a prescription and then tried to act as though I had spoken with someone else. Mind you this was the same woman I dealt with in 2023 and she has a pretty distinct voice. I waited and waited... 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment the doctor finally exited the exam room with a patient, whom he'd been in there with prior to my arriving. The doctor, whom I'd never met, called my name but never introduced himself, never explained anything and came across extremely unfriendly. I've also never had so much equipment involved in an exam, equipment which seemed very outdated, and the doctor was obnoxiously slow! Finally get out of the exam room and I'm directed to a very small area where glasses are on display that I can choose from. I asked if they had any special offers for a second set of lenses as I wanted to use my insurance benefits to get a new frame and lenses as backup, but also get lenses made for a frame I wear all the time. I was expecting it to be the same as last time when they made my lenses and only charged me $20 out-of-pocket (a fee I had to pay them in case they broke my frame as it was purchased elsewhere... made no sense, but I needed glasses). When I saw the cheap, tacky looking frames I had to choose from I decided not to get new frames and instead just get lenses for the frames I already have. That's when I was informed I'd have to pay $150 out-of-pocket and again she tried to justify this charge by claiming it's a fee in case they break my frame since it was purchased elsewhere. When I tried to find out why the significant increase from $20 in 2023 to $150 this year she immediately had an attitude, said they couldn't do it and literally just walked away. Now I have a prescription they were happy to use my insurance for, but once again I've been left in the lurch and need to find somewhere to get glasses (knowing THIS is what can be expected with medicaid). I won't be back and I definitely do not recommend.

Very friendly employees who are professional and kind. The glasses I got however were the worst pair I've had in my whole life. Immediately i noticed i was experiencing double vision no matter how much we adjusted the glasses. The frames came too small and to fix that issue I came back to the store because they needed to bend the part that wraps around your ears, but now they just slip off my face. About a week into having these glasses one of the nose pads has broken off completely and now I have spots that have become blurry on both lenses because of fine scratches. I thought I was getting the best option for lenses but those are still pretty low end apparently. They have no scratch protection if my eyelashes have scuffed them up, even though i payed for it. I was better off with my 8 year old pair of glasses. I WOULD STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE.

Great experience. The receptionist, ophthalmic nurse and optometrist were all very pleasant. I felt welcomed and comfortable, everyone was quite friendly. The optometrist was thorough and answered all my questions.

I have been going to Diamond optical for a couple years now sense the new owner Mark has taken over. Doctor Stone is very through with his eye exams and i had great satisfaction with customer care from the reception. They have a wide selection of frame and they are reasonable priced! My kids and i love this place and wont go anywhere else :)

I had a very bad experience with this company. I found the receptionist to be very rude on the phone when I was making an appointment. She put me on hold for 10 minutes then was very short with me the rest of the call. I decided to let it go as a misunderstanding and kept my appointment. That was a mistake as she was also rude in person and didn't even greet me or say hello when I arrived, She just asked if I had the forms I needed the Dr. to fill out then told me to sit down. I felt as if I was intruding. Then I found the Dr. to be lacking in professional judgement and made a call on my vision with out knowing my medical history. He was also very short with me and showed no interest in being helpful. I am sure this is a great place to go if you need bifocals or have just a slight vision issue, but if you have a real vision problem and need a real prescription then this is not the place to go. These people are more interested in selling frames than meeting individual needs. They won't get my business again.
