This office requires a retinal imaging test for an additional $30 fee. I already have this checked regularly through Kaiser at no cost. I asked the receptionist if she could see if the doctor could make an exception - nope. Although it is my closest costco optometrist I was informed I could go to a different store.
The staff was great, Dr Szymanowicz was very informative and patient. I was having problems with my referral to see an eye doctor for over 2 months and decided to just pay and see someone and I am glad I did, every penny spent here was woth it.
I’m not very good with names, but, everyone I encountered in the office was super pleasant and friendly. All the procedures were explained fully and I was made very comfortable. The doctor was also very kind and easy to be with. He explained the results of the tests and discussed glaucoma with me and encouraged me to follow up with a specialist. He wrote a referral and then added a hand written sticky note. I actually didn’t expect the experience to be so enjoyable. Thank you.
Dr. Szymanowicz was wonderful. She was very patient and did a great job explaining the process. She was very personable and made the appointment comfortable. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve had an eye exam and was impressed with the quality and ease the experience was from what I remember it to be in past visits at another office. Definitely recommend this doctor and staff for anyone looking to a great place to visit.
The Doctor was fantastic! She was professional, she was kind, she explained everything that was happening and elaborated on the health of my eyes in a way that I completely understood! I would recommend her and the Costco center to friends & family alike! I definitely be a returning customer!!
