If you want to be disrespected and treated poorly, this is the eye doctor for you! I went to this office today as a new patient and had a very negative experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt rushed and uncomfortable. I arrived on time and was filling out paperwork when the doctor stood nearby and commented that because I was completing it, he was now running behind. That immediately set an unwelcoming tone. A staff member, Angelina, was kind and helpful, but when she asked for the name of my contact lenses, I had to call my husband to confirm. While I was on the phone trying to get that information (which was being REQUESTED by the office), the doctor rudely said to me, “it’s time to hang up the phone now” because it was making him behind. I was doing what I was asked to do. Then, when the exam began, the doctor NEVER introduced himself, asked me my name, or made ANY effort to be personable. I had to be the one to say, “so what’s your name!?” and he spoke so fast because he was rushing I still don’t know what it was. Something with an H. Throughout the exam, he was abrupt and raised his voice at me more than once. When he asked me which lens was better or worse, I answered that both lens options looked extremely blurry and the same. Instead of clarifying, he responded sharply that “that wasn't the question I asked.” The entire appointment felt extremely rushed, and I’ve never had such a quick and uncomfortable eye exam. At the end, I was sent to the front without any basic courtesy. I felt disrespected and unwelcome. I will not be returning and would not recommend this doctor if you’re looking for a professional, patient-centered experience.

New to the area. Doctor Hertzberg was very helpful. Angelina and Zack are super sweet. Love my new contact and glasses. Will be sending all my friends and family member here.

I broke one of my nose pads while eating lunch at the diner down the road. I stopped in and asked if it was repairable. The girl working said “if I have the part” because it was a Ray Ban frame. I told her before she started that I did not have cash only a credit card and she said “it’s okay. I won’t charge you for this” She then spent 10-15 minutes doing the repair and gave them back to me good as new. So appreciative. Love the small town thoughtfulness of this visit. We need more shopping experiences like this. Putting relationships and people before money. Thanks Vision Center!

Staff was polite enough. I gave it one star because when I went to pick up my glasses the lady wiped the glasses with a dry paper towel before giving them to me. I did not appreciate this as paper towels can scratch your lens, I did receive an eye glass case it did not contain a microfiber lens cleaner. Misuse of paper towel and no microfiber lens cleaner- very cheesy. I will NOT go back to this place for future glasses. It was a simple basic exam- They are not equipped to give thorough exams, Part of the exam was done in a corner of the waiting room with their machine on an old school desk. I don't like to write negative reviews, but I take my health, eyesight, etc seriously and expect and expect so called professionals to do the same.

Clean facility, decent variety of glasses/frames & expert staff. Dr. Hertzberg was full of knowledge & quite humorous. He made my exam a fun learning experience. Cindy & husband ran the Vision Center operations. They were genuine while giving me guidance & options. I felt very comfortable with the staff here & am looking forward to wearing the glasses we ordered today. Thanks!
