Dr. Feenstra was very nice, but unfortunately we had a bad experience. We only had about 2 minutes with him in the exam room and he rushed us out to look at glasses. I tried to ask him question about the prescription and he told me twice that it was “multiple numbers” and that “they will provide it to you out there”. He only showed my family member two variations of the glasses correction and said he could only get them to 20/40. We got a second opinion from an optometrist we’ve used multiple times in the past and it was such a better experience. That doctor probably went through 20 variations (what looks better, 1 or 2?) and spent 20 minutes with us. He got my family member to 20/25 vision with correction and was confident it would be at 20/20 at this time next year. Huge difference in experience.

Brought my teenage daughter for a contact lens appointment. The office was clean and nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well. Dr. Feenstra is incredibly nice and has amazing bedside manner. He made my daughter feel very comfortable and she is happy to be out of glasses and into contacts! We made an appointment same-day, and we were in and out quickly!

Pros- you’ll be out of there in a second. Cons- you’ll be out of there in a second wondering what the heck just happened. He rushes everything- he didn’t give me a moment to respond to how blurry the images were, he just flew through them at his own leisure.i even had to ask “am i supposed to respond to you?” And he ignored me. So I have no idea how he was able to assess my vision or if it’s accurate.
