Been coming here for a while for my optometry needs. The office is nice, quaint, quiet. Staff is good about assisting me respectfully and in a timely manner. The office is never busy when I go, I'm usually the only patient in the room which makes for a quick wait time. Their doctors are kind and knowledgeable, patient and understanding. The selection of glasses is satisfactory, I usually find a pair or two that are just right for me. I use Medi-Cal for my insurance, if that helps anyone. My exam and glasses are covered. Would recommend this place to others in need of quick and quality service👍🏼

I just got my glasses to see what's completely useless. They just give me a headache, and I was forced to wear them even though I can't see a thing. He also underestimates my intelligence by saying I don't know how to use progressive lenses when I've been using them for years. Don't go to this place for treatment. They don't know how to do things right.
The current staff is amazing. The doctor truly cares for her patients and I can’t thank her enough for helping my dad. She is the best!!! I recommend coming here as the staff is incredibly helpful.
I’ve been with this optometrist since I was a kid! Alex is phenomenal and truly consider him a friend of the family. Unfortunately yes, front desk is a hit or miss. Called yesterday to pick up a copy of my prescription at 12:54. Original business hours on google said they closed at 2pm. When I was informed they were closing at 1pm. Okay no problem I’ll see them Monday morning. However woman who took my call…listen if you don’t have the information or desire to be helpful that’s fine but to respond rudely to my suggestion that your hours be updated to reflect actual closing time was unnecessary. I didn’t need the whole backstory to why you “can’t” update it I simply and calmly reassured her I would suggest an edit via google maps app and voila! You’re welcome. As a loyal patient and friend I’ll do what I can to help not for you but for Alex and the other staff who have been so so kind and supportive over 20+ years.
I don’t normally do reviews but you must be warned before going in. First, know your insurance before going inside if not you will be taken advantage of. They will try to overcharge you out of pocket. Next, I got contacts so I had to come back for a fitting. This was new to but that’s fine. I called to scheduled the fitting she said it was ok for me to come in. When I walked in they tell me they will reschedule for a later time in the day the doctor is not going to see me. I explain to her when I called I told her I was 40 mins away and she ok’d it. She says well the doctor can’t see you so what do you want to do. This is the worst experience that I’ve had at any doctors office. They won’t give me my prescription so I can go somewhere else. I’m stuck and at the call. So visit at your own risk but at least I’ve told my story.
