Dr. Workman is the first eye doctor I have ever liked. I am nearsighted, in my 50's, and needed glasses to suit my work. His prescription was great! And he had advice for dry eyes that was more helpful than anyone before. I used to live in Montpelier, but moved away. I drive over 20 miles to go to Dr. Workman now, but it is totally worth it. He is thorough and friendly. The staff is also friendly and helpful.
Dr. Workman is an extraordinary doctor. After an eye injection I suffered severe dry eye and new eye floaters. Dr. Workman has an “Optomap”, which takes a panoramic photo of 80% of the retina without eye dilation. After listening to my various eye issues and my request to not dilate my eyes, Dr. Workman spent 40 minutes with me. He took photos using two different eye cameras to better identify problems. He also looked into my eyes using a slit lamp and tested my tear quality. He did a careful assessment of my eyes and came up with an action plan. I felt extremely relieved and assured by Dr. Workman’s knowledge, thoroughness, and clear focus on my most important eye issues. He was very effective in explaining my eye problems and his response to my situation. I am very grateful for his time and attention to my needs and unique eye conditions. His staff was also very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend him for any eye problems you may have.
Clean office, friendly staff, and quality equipment. Dr. Workman took his time assessing my vision and advised new contact lenses. The drive home with the new lenses was a charm. I truly haven’t seen this well in years. He got the prescription spot on!
Wonderful people! Knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic! Finally a quality vision center that is conveniently located with hours of operation so I don't have to take off from work!!!! I highly recommend Montpelier Vision Center to EVERYONE but specially if you live north west of Richmond!!
Dr. Workman is an awesome doctor. He takes his time, is thorough, and does an excellent job of explaining what he does. I highly recommend him.
