Dr. Jonathan Smith

I'm writing this review after many years of wonderful and considerate service from Dr. Johnathan Smith and his amazing team. You never truly know what you have until it's gone. After trying two other mediocre optometrists in Carson City for the last 3 years, I can safely say without a doubt in my mind that Dr. Smith truly cares for his patients wellbeing, and ensuring their eyesight is as pristine as possible. I will have to start commuting to incline again just for this very special and very thorough eye exam, because there is no optometrist that will ever do as good of a job like Dr. Smith does. After trying something closer to home that is horrible in comparison, it is clear as day that Dr. Smith is truly is one of a kind. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Smith, you've really shown me what a good eye doctor is and what to expect from one. And thank you to your lovely staff for always being kind and helpful. You guys are the best!!

I'm 66 years old and have been getting eye exams since my 40's. No doctor has ever spent as much time with me nor have they ever been as thorough as Dr. Smith. Also, he did not try to push into new lenses I didn't need just to make a sale. The prescription he gave me was slightly different than what I had before yet he said I could be fine with the lenses I have until at least my next check up. Thorough and honest!

I've been seeing Jonathan Smith for the past 18 years and would recommend him to anyone. I've always received great care and he has updated equipment that makes the quality of the care wven better. He has a machine that takes photos of your retina. That's excellent for two reasons. Your retina photos can be compared to previous year photos, getting information about your health as it relates to your eyes and the rest of your body. This equipment can tell you about different conditions in your body, like high blood pressure or diabetes before it shows up on a physical exam. As for the office staff, they are always knowledgeable and kind. They are all friendly, warm, good people who do their job well. Thanks to all of you! You make my day every time see you!

Dr. Smith has been the Eye care professional for our family for more than 2 years. Friendly, professional, community conscious and provides cutting edge eye health technology. Efficient front office staff and nice selection of eye wear. Would recommend!

I had a bad experience and bad service and I gave the difference for a pair of glasses that came out of the insurance money and I never received it.
