This had to be one of the worst hospitals in the Bronx. The entire building reeks of mold and urine. Everything appears old and unsanitary. The doctors, nurses and other staff are non existent! The communication between the morning staff and evening staff is terrible, how is it that no one checks records, checks required medications of patients etc? This place is a joke and all the nurses and staff lack professionalism! This was initially Bronx Lebanon and I see why the name changed because the place needs to be shut down period. Feels like a free clinic not a hospital and I’ve been to better clinics. Most nasty and rude staff I’ve ever experienced in my life. The nurse said my grandmother doesn’t cooperate because she said the nurse was being rough with her. Then the nurse said my Grandmother was annoying. NURSE DARCY!

My wife was scared to go to this hospital because of the bad reputation and reviews but the nurse Grace made my wife feel very safe and comfortable. One person can make an experience way better. Thank you Grace for making my wife Diana feel comfortable and safe while she was alone. Enjoy your vacay and Stay blessed always.
Very disappointed with the service at this hospital. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional during our visit, especially when my wife needed proper care and attention. On top of that, the waiting area chairs were very dirty and unhygienic. A hospital should maintain cleanliness and treat patients and their families with respect. This experience was unacceptable.
While here front desk security is strick when it comes to visitors. It's a small patient area so visitors are limited. I had a hard time trying to visit a family member & friend. 3 people was up and I think because of the time of day it got cut down to two visitors. Staff is friendly (nurses, maintenance, dinning area). I didn't see any Doctors. I could only hope that the Doctors are as friendly. Place seems clean. I can't tell because of lack of the sterilized scent or smell. I did not see urgent care unit as I was in the housing unit area. Well there are multiple buildings. I guess that specializes in different area of treatment. It's nice to know that LIJ isn't the only big name here in New York.
This hospital is just along the road and accessible. Parking around the hospital is not easy to find. The building is extremely tall. The security personnel was extremely helpful. He provided us with all information needed. The doctor and nurse that attended to us were extremely kind and friendly. Am grateful to all the hospital staff.
