Dr Gonzalez is great with kids. She walked us through the entire process and answered all of my questions. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They helped make my child’s first eye exam a good excóriense.

Our former optometrist stopped using our insurance carrier and we switched to this office. What an amazing experience we had as a family at this location. Doctor and staff were extremely quick and thorough. We were not treated like a number but were explained everything and even had an anatomy and physiology lesson about the eye taught to our 9 year old while going through our images. Should have been coming here from the get go. Insurance coverage seems to be better and less out of pocket expenses here than at our former optometrist’s office so that a huge plus.

First I must say it was a hassle to find the consultation office, the gps made us park on the opposite side of the mall, we had to find the mall map to locate it and based on the appointment we looked for Lens Crafters, made it to the eyeglasses store but it wasn’t there, the store staff redirected us to the actual consultation office that was an easy to miss small door. When we finally made there we were 4min late and explained we were late bc we had problems finding the location but we were informed they do not see anyone late, no matter why or how little the delay may be. I tried to reason with them, explained that since we cleared our schedule to get the exam done that day we were willing to wait as long as needed to be seen without disrupting their schedule but I was met with a condescending treatment from the front desk staff. I want to make it very clear that i wasn’t mean or demanding I was extremely apologetic and just wanted to make this work for both parts but I was met with a rude attitude and they weren’t willing to compromise which is understandable but the problem is the way they went about it. I pointed out the rude treatment was uncalled for as well as they should inform their policies during the scheduling process and they became even worse, finally my husband intervened and told me to not try to reason with them any further and just leave bc no matter how good the doctor may be if every time we come we have to deal with them. Anyway beware of how hard it may be for you to find the location if it’s your first appointment and you’re not familiar with the mall, beware of their zero tolerance for being late and be prepared to deal with the worst front desk staff I’ve ever encountered. To be fair this happened in January 2026 and they may have changed the staff but I was reminded of this awful experience by a text I received today telling me to reschedule with them and my first reaction was to think I rather have poor eye sight than deal with them ever again. I read other reviews (some are years old and some months old) and there’s a lot of clients also reporting being mistreated by the front desk and that made me leave this review bc even if the people that were rude to me are not longer there it’s fair to question the quality of a establishment that just let their staff continue to treat their clients poorly for years after being given feedback.

Excellent staff real polite. Dr.s are great too fully explain everything. Also real efficient and fast in and out in no time with appointment. Been going there for the past 5 years

Took son for eye exam but unfortunately Dr Helgeson might have retired. Saw Dr Gonzales who I thought was too hurried in exam. So used to Dr Helgeson who took his time to explain everything. If you did picture of eyes would even show and explain everything to you.
