Four years ago: This is my first time to visit Dr. Sun Eye Care. Dr. Sun is professional and knowledgeable, caring for the patient and attentive. She explained me clearly her diagnose and proposed treatments. The Exam fees were reasonable. The office staff is friendly and understands patient's needs, then makes arrangements accordingly. Dr. Sun Eye Care in Plainsboro, NJ is conveniently located in the Village Center, easy to find. The office is clean and bright.

I had a great experience with my annual visit with Dr. Sun. Dr. Sun listens to my needs and provides the best professional opinion. She is knowledgable, informative, and warm. The location of her office is convenient with plenty of parking. I would recommend Dr. Sun to anybody who needs your eye exam and eyeglasses without hesitation.
Been bringing the family here for almost 10 years now. One of the worst problems at Dental/Vision offices are the amount of patients who think everything should be free or that they are above waiting like the rest of us! Just the other day, 3-4 patients were left waiting for service while this one Entitled Young Adult was trying to weasle his way out of paying the $15 copay --- even trying to get his Chinese-speaking parents on the phone to haggle! In the early days of every practice, all patients will be seen regardless of their "ill-nature" but, hopefully, as the practice is now well-established, they will be more discriminate and stop the nightmare patients from wasting both our time and theirs. To the patients who like to argue that there are better prices and services elsewhere: GO THERE INSTEAD! Why are you wasting our time and yours queuing up in front of the patients who want to be HERE?
Poor experience. The staff is nice but speaks very little English and this led to severe miscommunication. I went for a simple eyeglasses exam to have my prescription updated. Instead, they tried me out for contacts even though I explicitly said I had never worn contacts in my life. Poor administration of office - The optometrist and her staff never sent me my eyeglasses prescription after several requests via phone and email. Secondly, I requested them to mail me the bill(after a small concession for all the miscommunication that led them to fit me for contacts) but have yet to receive it yet after 1.5 months since my visit. I went to Dr Sun's since it is close to my house and the exam is covered by my insurance. I also considered the 5 star ratings on Google Reviews. Instead of giving me a new eyeglasses prescription, they sought to get me fitted for contacts - an unsolicited/uncovered $60 service. I hope you consider this review before making your decision to visit this "business".
This was my first time visit today and I had a pleasant experience. I am an average mid 20's economy minded consumer. I have been wearing glasses for 20 years and have been with multiple eye doctors across America. So I know what I'm talking about. Dr. Sun seems to be a knowledgeable doctor and attentive to her patients. Her credentials is backed up by outstanding academic achievements. I used my VSP to get my regular glasses prescription and check up and only paid $10 copay. She checked my eye pressure, prescription, retina, and early signs of glaucoma. Gave me a price quote for eyeglasses and did not pressure me to buy glasses from her clinic.
