We had the BEST experience here! My teenage son's glasses broke, and Dr. Patel was so patient, professional, and kind. Vita, Dijane, and Raissa were AMAZING and helped us get everything done so quickly. Everybody had such a fun, friendly vibe, and the office felt so warm and welcoming. We will definitely come back if my little one needs glasses too. Highly recommend!

I went in for my appt. And the front desk girl was very rude, never said hi or anything because she was on FaceTime with her boyfriend the whole time she was checking me in. She then proceeded to get mad because she had to call and get my insurance coverage, like it was a real problem, but kept talking to the guy on her phone. Ummmm, isn’t this her job to do that and WITHOUT HER RUDE ATTITUDE!!! It cost me $700 for 2 pairs of glasses, NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND ANYONE I KNOW TO GO HERE!!! They definitely get no stars, if there was a negative star I would pick that one! I have never met such rude people that work for a company before. I will definitely call corporate.
Worst customer service experience I've ever had. I visited the Visionworks store in Princeton, NJ, at around 6:15 PM, and from the moment my family and I walked in, we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. The employees on duty were extremely rude, showed no interest in helping us, and made us feel as though our presence was an inconvenience. Sadly, I even felt that we were being treated differently and discriminated against. What made the experience even more upsetting was seeing customers who entered the store after us being greeted with warmth, friendliness, and respect, while my family received none of that courtesy. The staff were also unwilling to answer basic questions from either of my children, which was very disappointing. To make matters worse, although we arrived around 6:15 PM, the staff began repeatedly reminding us around 6:30 PM that the store would be closing at 7:00 PM. Rather than focusing on helping us with our questions and needs, it felt as though they were rushing us through the process and eager to leave for the day. Since the store was still open for another 30 minutes, I expected the same level of service and professionalism that any customer should receive during normal business hours. In contrast, I visited the Visionworks location in Ewing Township, NJ, on another day and had a completely different experience. Raul was professional, welcoming, patient, and extremely helpful. He first offered to review my insurance benefits, clearly explained the pricing and coverage details, and helped my son choose the right frames and glasses. Customer service was outstanding and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Even though the Ewing location is a 25-minute drive for me, I would gladly make that trip again rather than return to the Princeton store. The difference in customer service was night and day. I only wish I had the names of the two employees working at the Princeton location that evening so I could specifically identify them. Based on my experience, the Princeton store seriously needs to improve its customer service and ensure that all customers are treated with respect, professionalism, and equal attention.
We received excellent care from Sateara Smith, who ensured my elementary aged daughter found the perfect glasses for her lifestyle and personality. Sateara was friendly, approachable, and efficient. It’s great receiving such wonderful customer service, especially since this is the first time my daughter has worn glasses.
Overall, I think it's an okay vision center. The issues I have are these three: 1. Appointment availability is limited for contact lens check ups. You can't schedule anything after 4:40 which makes it difficult for me since I leave work at 5. 2. The office is right next to a gym and the music just blasts through the walls and sometimes it's hard to hear the people you are talking to. Very distracting. 3. I was prescribed different strength lenses for "monovision." Basically means the dominant eye is for distance and the other is for reading. After a month and a half or two months with this prescription, it's become uncomfortable. I am very aware that my left eye is weaker in my daily life and it just doesn't feel right. I called in to schedule an appointment. I explained what I was experiencing to the receptionist. She put me on hold and I guess it was the office manager who picked up. At first, very defensive borderline confrontational. "Do you know what monovision is?" (Me giving a wrong answer.) "No. That's not what it means." and started to get very defensive and her tone was not a representation of good customer service. Only when I interrupted her and said "whoa whoa...let's just calm down here." An office manager or customer service duty is to deescalate. I feel like I had to deescalate her. The rest of the conversation was better, but it left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I'll probably go with another provider once I get this straightened out, but all in all it's an okay vision center.
