I don't understand the other reviews about the doctor being pushy about buying glasses. We've been going here for a number of years and he's been nothing but nice. His eyes exams are comprehensive and I never feel proded into making a purchase.

Won't be going back. Doctor was pushy about getting a pair of prescription sunglasses. I told him I'd order those online because I'm on a tight budget. He proceeded to lecture me on purchasing glasses from online stores. Why does VSP insurance provide an online store for you to purchase glasses from then if they're so terrible? The following year I had an exam and he said my prescription changed. I ordered lenses only since my insurance only covers frames every two years and they cost as much as a whole pair of glasses the previous year. When I got them they seemed a little off but didn't think anything of it. This year I went to America's Best in Beavercreek. They had 5 times as many glasses. No one was pushy. Everyone was nice. The doctor there said my prescription was too strong! So I paid for lenses the year before that I didn't need! I got two pair of glasses at America's Best for the price of one at Dr. McManus'. Also, I told the America's Best doc I wanted to get a pair of contacts for special occasions but I'd probably only wear them a couple times a year. She gave me 5 pair of one day samples for free! Just drive the twenty minutes to the America's Best in Beavercreek, they're even open on the weekends.
Nice staff and doctor but seems to care more about selling glasses than a full medical exam
