Drs Liggett Rocklin & Liggett

Had to walk out before my exam even began because they wouldn’t allow my 5 and 8 year old to accompany me in the exam room. As a stay at home mom, my children come to appointments with me, especially places like eye Dr and dentist because those are typically family visit friendly. BUT NOT Dr Liggetts office! Not only are they not family friendly, they are stuck in the 2020 mindset. That was their reason for not letting my children to go back with me. Those days are over and my children nor myself pose a risk to this office. I refuse to leave my small children unattended in a lobby with strangers. Because I refused I couldn’t be seen. No exceptions. The staff offered to reschedule me for a time when I could come kid free, in which I refused because an office who is still afraid of C and isn’t family friendly isn’t the office for me. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

My wife and I needed to find a new eye doctor in circleville, and our experience with Dr Liggett and his staff has been nothing but the best. And there are several decades of dealing with Health Care professionals, Dr Liggett and his staff have performed to the highest of standards in every aspect. Professionalism, welcoming atmosphere, polite and so competent. We recommend them to anyone at all. I read two negative reviews by other persons, I find both of them bordering on ridiculous.

The doctor is really friendly, but each time a pair of glasses needs replaced due to defect or breakage, they require you to drive to the office to let them scan your insurance card before they will order new ones. They don't want to see the broken product, but they want to scan in the card that they already have scanned into their system, for benefits that can be verified without said card. They also falsely told me that this was my insurance company's policy. I called to verify that this was false, and my insurance provider confirmed that they will never have me drive to an office to have a card scanned that was already on file. I drove 25 minutes one way, the girl at the desk had no clue what she was doing, and used a quarter tank of gas. Just to request a frame replacement.

I have driven over an hour one way to go back to them. I had tried places closer to me that were subpar at best. I came here as a kid and now as an adult. I would continue to recommend them for care. Like the last reviewer stated the low star comments seem ridiculous.

My son and I have always received excellent care, and when there was an eye emergency Another doctor saw us right away, with the same excellent care and respect. I will always Go there.
