The exam was great. I wasn't sure I'd like having a remote exam, but it worked beautifully -- if you are just getting a prescription updated and having a checkup, it's a great way to do it. If it's your first time or you have a medical problem, you CAN see a live doctor certain days of the week. But they show you ads for the attached Pearle Vision Center between phases of the exam, and you can't turn them off or mute them the whole way. I may not come back just because of that.

You can get a personal experience from the moment you walk in the door to the door on your way home. 8 years and I have never been more happy with my neighborhood eye specialist. Everyone was wonderful. Could not have asked for a better first experience. All virtual stuff went pretty smooth. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the lady who helped me pick out frames (I feel terrible, she’s awesome), but that was hands down the best customer service I’ve ever had. Left the experience completely happy. 10/10
