Not only does Edie's have a fantastic selection of frames, but much more importantly for me, a hugely talented owner and team who understand vision and what helps a customer see well. As a person with very unique and challengging vision, Jake and team were pateient and determined to help me seledt the right pair of frames and lenses. They ensured lenses were PERFECT for visiual acutity and comfort. Wow! Think of the best customer service you ever had and then 10X that! Best new addition to Glencoe! Thank you!

Best eye glasses store on the North Shore and beyond❣️ Jake, the owner, knows his stuff!! He’s an all around great guy, has years of expertise, a terrific sense of style and what works for each individual, and his shop’s execution is spot on too. Edie’s Eyewear, aside from having the best logo, has a fabulous assortment of frames with the latest styles and something for everyone. The staff is fabulous also. Julie is the absolute sweetest and has over 30 years of experience, incredible depth knowledge, and the intuition to determine your style and find frames that fit your face properly and suit your personality. She is an absolute joy to work with!! I’m never disappointed in the outcome. Edie’s is clean and cheery with happy, homey vibe. You leave the store with your new frames feeling cooler, younger, and refreshed with more spring in your step. You look through your new lenses and frames and the whole world looks brighter :) Do not hesitate and head on over to Edie’s Eyewear. Jake and Julie and the rest of the team will take great care of you!! You’ll get a whole new outlook (see what I did there?!) Wear them in the best of health!! Tell them Susan sent you 😎

Five stars for Edie’s Eyewear! I am so happy with my new eye glasses. A huge thank you to Lauren and Jake who took my inspiration photo and turned it into reality with the perfect fit and style. It’s clear they hand-pick the best brands, and the level of knowledge the team has is impressive. A super warm and welcoming store that you should not walk by… Truly the best eyewear boutique in the Chicagoland area! They have a lifelong customer in me!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone here has been more than helpful every time I walk in. Jake helped me pick out a pair of frames that I never would have, but love more than any previous pairs, in over 40 years of wearing glasses. Beyond that, I get compliments on my frames almost every single day. Thanks for all the compliments and quality work!

At first this seemed like a really great business. Overall experience was nice until I came back with vision problems after they made my progressive glasses. Unfortunately, it's happened before where it takes more than one time to make my glasses right. However, when I came back to explain the issues I was having, the tone shifted. They told me I needed to adjust to it, even though I was not able to see clearly or drive safe with those glasses. They recommended I return to the doctor that wrote the prescription and see if they could fix the prescription or rule out an eye disease, so I did. I paid out of pocket for another eye exam since my insurance was already used, especially since they mentioned eye disease. The doctor ended up confirming the prescription was correct, and the lenses they used to make my prescription was not the best quality progressive, and may be the reason why I wasn't able to see clearly. I ended up just going to Warby Parker and getting my glasses made there. It only took a week to get them made, and they were done right the first time. Jake, the business owner, didn't even offer a refund or to try and remake them. By the way, I spent $1,745 on my glasses here to have them made incorrectly no refund, to then spend $823 elsewhere to have them made right. I will not be coming back and would never recommend to anyone.
