This is the worst practice I’ve ever been to. After receiving concerning bloodwork results I called to seal with my doctor, and they did not return my call at all, for an entire month and after I called two more times. I finally had to come in person and find my doctor to find answers. Now, I’ve run out of my medication and after I requested a refill, and a message was sent to my doctor, nothing happened. No response. Still don’t have my medication. This practice is simply neglecting its patients.

Greetings: I hope that this email finds you in good health and circumstances. I had a follow up appointment with H. Gortler at the 5753 Wayne Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19144 location. I arrived at the location on time. I was told that because I could not pay the co pay at that moment that I would not be seen. I asked if I could billed being as though I do not have an outstanding balance. I was told No. I asked to speak to a manager and Adonia Matthews came out to speak to me. I explained that I could not pay the co pay at the moment and asked if I could be billed. I explained that I do not have an outstanding balance and that I would pay the bill when it arrived. I also explained that I had left work early to be able to attend the appointment and that it would be difficult for me to reschedules. A. Matthews said that I would not be billed and that if I could not pay my copay then I need to reschedule. I informed A. Matthews that I would file a formal compliant being that I've never known Einstein/Jefferson to deny services to anyone. This situation is by far is the most devastating experience I have ever had with any doctors in my life. I believe that this situation needs to be investigated - I would love if the office cameras are viewed to notice the smug and snarky body language displayed by A. Matthews and the reception involved in this case. I would recommend that this office receives professional development in the areas of patient care, empathy, and office billing procedures. Kind Regards
Wonder Office , My whole family goes to this doctor Roberta Powell. A great doctor she cares and really ask questions that make her feel as though she family …. Which she is. The front desk was great as well.
I have been seeing Dr. Pirani for some time now. She has been very thorough in my evaluations and treatment planning, and she takes the time to listen to all of my concerns. She may not be full of smiles, but she is very dedicated to treating her patients. She is a very good doctor.
Unorganized, phone line is unorganized and you can tell they pay people who never even seen the office or know how to pronounce the damn office. I made an appointment via Telehealth and I never got the link for the appointment. I’m currently at work and it definitely caused extra confusion and stress and I am not pleased with that.
