A Masterclass in Incompetence and Wasted Time
I cannot strongly enough advise against using Elite Vision Care for lens prescriptions or replacements. What should have been a standard, scheduled appointment turned into an egregious display of incompetence and a total disregard for their patients' time.
I arrived for my appointment on time and when they called me, the technician told me that they ordered the wrong lenses for me and that I have to wait for them to fix it at the store. I waited almost two hours and I couldn’t wait any longer. I was explicitly promised a one-hour wait for new lenses. When I finally assumed the work was done, a staff member casually informed me that they had ordered the wrong lenses for one of my pairs after 10 days of the order. Instead of exhibiting basic professional courtesy and calling me in advance to let me know the wrong order had arrived, they let me show up and sit there for three hours before bothering to realize their mistake. Now, I have to waste yet another day returning to fix their inexcusable error.
The clinic’s massive delays and sheer ineptitude completely ruined our family’s out-of-town travel plans for the day. To add insult to injury, the office was practically empty. There were only two other patients present, yet I had to sit and watch the staff stand around having personal conversations and laughing, perfectly aware that I was being entirely neglected.
To make matters infinitely worse, this level of sheer incompetence is clearly a pattern. On a separate occasion, my mother went to this clinic by herself for the exact same service. She recently told me she had to return her glasses and complain three separate times because your technicians were completely incapable of taking proper measurements.
After several years as a loyal patient, this appalling lack of professionalism is the absolute last straw. I will never return to Elite Vision Care, and I highly recommend anyone who values their time and sanity look elsewhere.
