Monica was amazing. She got me in when I accidentally showed up on the wrong day! She was a life saver because I wouldn’t have been able to have another appointment for a couple weeks related to my job, so she really saved me!! I love Berkeley Eye center and all the employees there treat me very well. They are all very professional and kind!!

I used to use Houston Eye Associates for my vision needs, but switched a few months ago to Berkeley Eye Center Clear Lake, and I’m so glad I did! The staff and doctors assistants or super friendly and knowledgeable and take the time to listen to what you’re dealing with instead of telling you what you should be seeing. I was having trouble seeing correctly after my first contact fitting. When I came back for a refit, Dr Obie actually walked outside with me and checked how I was seeing in “the real world “. Who does that anymore! Awesome people, awesome experience. Recommend Berkeley to any and everyone!
They are great , I have been going there since 2019 and the staff is kind and friendly always very helpful in answering any questions . The physicians and nursing staff take time and explain and show you any issues or areas of concern and let you know how your over all eye health is show compassion and kindness . I would recommend Berkley eye center to all !
Outstanding! Loved the doctor and the staff. The appointment was very efficient and everything was explained very well. Great communication with the contact specialist after the appointment as well. Highly recommended!
I do not recommend this eye care center. The optometrists themselves and the medical support staff in the back were phenomenal (the only reason this review is two stars instead of one) - I saw two different optometrists in separate visits and their knowledge and overall experience with them were great. However, the office staff in the front were terrible. This is not based off one visit or encounter, but every single one. Staff supporting contacts are completely separate from staff supporting glasses, and there does not seem to be any collaboration between the two departments / groups. You ask someone for something and receive a rude response such as "that's glasses, I don't work with glasses, you need to go over there"... It's literally 10 feet away and everyone in front was quite rude. The business model of separating glasses vs contacts might have some rationale behind it, but regardless of how you operate, your staff should want to help and have a friendly attitude toward ALL patients, regardless of what they are there for. I worked with three different ladies in front, and none were able to do accurate math when calculating insurance benefits. I had to do it myself and explain which coverage options made more sense. If you are familiar with your own coverage and don't mind doing that yourself, then no issues, but if you aren't very familiar with your benefit options and want someone to help guide you, you will not get accurate guidance here. Additionally, this location rarely answers their phone. Occasionally someone will pick up, but even via phone if you are calling for glasses, they will rudely say "I can't help with that, that's glasses", or vice versa. I had to leave messages almost every time - I did receive a phone call back half of those instances, but the ladies did not seem to know my order status for multiple days. My contacts did come in on time, but my glasses did not and I did not receive any reassuring updates as to where they were at. Eventually I did get them in one piece, prior to writing this review. Overall the medical staff was absolutely fantastic, but there are plenty of good eye doctors out there with much better office staff and customer service. I would look elsewhere.
