Anya or Ana the optician is a wonderful asset to this practice. I had an issue with glasses I purchased almost a year ago, the frame was breaking and the lenses were all scratched( these were very high end glasses that had purchased all coatings for the lenses and were always washed only with eyeglass spray and Kimtech wipes). She cheerfully ordered a new pair of glasses for me. She is gold for this company. Unfortunately the replacement glasses took a month to make it into my hands. Estimate had been 10-14 business days. I can not rate the rest of the office so highly. On the day I was going to be in town a month out I waited 5 hours to learn if they had been inspected upon arrival at the Optical Shoppe. I called repeatedly for 2 hours and no one answered the phone. Apparently they were short staffed that day(only 1 employee was there). She decided to take “ lunch” for that time and did not answer the phones. I finally drove there prior to returning home and was able to pick up my glasses. When I asked why I wasn’t informed that morning that they were ready I was told she called me and she was told the number was no longer in service. Turns out she called me on a landline that has been out of service for 6 years and I had repeatedly told the optical receptionist to remove that # from my chart the last time being only a month earlier. In addition I had been receiving texts on the correct phone number! Since they were sold to another company office procedure and eyeglass production times have suffered. Maybe think twice. The only reason I rate them 3 stars is because they stand behind their product. I have been going there for almost 20 years and overtime I have seen a downward turn in staff professionalism and a lack of compassionate care from office staff. Anya is the exception here.

ZERO STARS...Hello Doctors!!! Your customer service team lacks professionalism and I hope you care to know this. Are you reading your 1 star reviews? Are you to busy? I wrote a 1 star review weeks ago, feel free to read that one if you will. FUTURE CUSTOMERS, I've been waiting over 3 months and counting for contacts to arrive. Today the customer service team, (No names) calls to have me come in after work and pickup my "trials" because of their previous mistake and wouldn't you know it, they ordered two LEFT contacts. After taking after taking my credit card and not placing my order for 6 weeks, the "Benny Hill Gang" Strikes again. You may well hide your 1 star and ZERO stars reviews from public view and wouldn't blame you at this point, lol. Address your service team Doctors they need help.
Unfortunately my experience at Elliot has not been a very good one. The Customer Service team does not follow through with what they say and because of their lack of professionalism I will be taking business elsewhere next year. Customer Svc rep takes my credit card information, never follows up with the doctor as they said they would, never places my annual contact order, and does not call me back to to provide an update. Waiting for over 2.5 months and still haven't received my contacts. So again, the Customer Service team will speak again with the doctor TOMORROW to update and PLACE my order. They also said ey said they will call me back to provide an update. I'll let you know. This is the 2nd year in a row the customer service team has let me down.
I had booked an appointment online a month ago for services for a Monday. I showed up to my appointment and the check in desk let me know my appointment was cancelled 10 minutes after I made it online. How does that happen? With no warning? No call, text, email, etc with the cancellation or anything?? They said it was the system that did it and could see the appointment I made. I got a confirmation for my appointment too, so I was confused. I rescheduled with the front desk for the end of the week and they were sorry about it. I had just received a call from them the day before that the doctor got sick and they didn’t have anything availability now and had me rescheduled for May. MONTHS out now. That is super frustrating as I took time off for these appointments. I had to reschedule appointments for these. Work won’t allow me more time off. I have called everywhere for an eye place to take my insurance and schedule and this was the closest to home and it’s so upsetting. I think they are overbooking too many people within a short time frame. I think they knew I was coming in and said it was the system but it was the office themselves. I completely understand things happen and life goes on but the office has not taken now into consideration that this is a twice sort of thing and feels very intentional. They need to take online booking off of the system if it does that to patients who are seeking care and needing assistance. They definitely don’t need to have that many people at a time in the waiting room as when I did go inside for the first time from the appointment I booked WAY in advance it was so claustrophobic and packed for a tiny building. No parking spots for someone who reserved an appointment. I am just frustrated and now having to wait and also try and figure it out with my job is unprofessional. PLEASE call into this establishment and do not make an appointment online!!!
A wonderful local Eye shop. Optometrists are excellent and support team great. Both make it a pleasant experience. Nice selection of frames.
