4 years ago Emer eye care was recommended to me by a friend at work. Greatest recommendation that one could ever receive! State of the art equipment, knowledgeable staff, beautiful facility. I forgot to make my yearly appointment with Dr. Clair (she’s the best) and asked to be put on the waiting list for a cancellation. I received a call within days and had my appointment. Dr. Clair, Dr. Ben are the best! 5 stars, hands down the best in Kenosha.

My husband and I came in for our eye exams after not having one for about six years. We really enjoyed our experience with Dr. Claire. She was very personable, thorough, and made us feel comfortable. Unfortunately, our experience picking out glasses was not as positive. The front staff did not seem very knowledgeable or helpful when it came to selecting frames. I was unsure what nose bridge size, frame width, or arm length would be the best fit for my face, and I would have appreciated more guidance during the process. We ended up choosing our own frames without much assistance. When we handed over our selections, we were not asked about lens options or any preferences for how the lenses should be made. After receiving three of the four pairs of glasses we ordered, we noticed that the adjustment made once picked up were not thorough either and we have to go back to fix the arms on my husbands glasses. Overall, we appreciated the care we received from Dr. Claire, but the frame selection and fitting process left us disappointed. Better training and more guidance from the front staff would greatly improve the experience. At this point, we would not return here after we receive all the glasses.

Best eye doc in Kenosha!! Dr. Emer not rush me throughout the eye exam I felt confident in his care. The staff is absolutely wonderful and friendly. Lisa could not be more helpful behind the insurance. Missy was excellent. She assisted with picking out glasses. I would highly recommend this place.

I went for for my yearly eye appointment. Found out I had a hemorrhage in the eye. Dr Emer wanted to do another test which I did. The girl who gave me the test said the Dr would call today or tomorrow with the results. Two days went by and did not hear anything so I called. The receptionist who answered said “Well if you didn’t hear anything it is probably fine”. I said I would still like to hear from the Dr. she said she would let him know. I heard nothing again so I called back. They said the Dr would call me. One week later he called. All was fine but he said I needed to do another test in six months and someone from his office would call me to schedue an appointment. I even clarified with him- “someone would call me?” He said yes. No One ever called. BY now I was irritated. So I received a bill for the test for the balance not covered by insurance. I paid it. Then I received a second bill for a different amount for the same test. I called to find out why a second bill. No One ever called me back about it. I was done- I paid the bill and wrote a note with the bill I will no longer be returning. I was very irritated at everything that happened so I left a one star review. You will never guess!!! I received a call from them in less then 24 hours as to why I gave a one star review. I never explained in the review why I only gave one star until now. I told them it was UNBELIEVABLE they called me about the one star review where Not once did I receive a call about my care or bill!!

Dr Claire is a great addition to your team! She's so sweet and knowledgeable! Explained everything in great detail that's understandable, not a bunch of medical gibberish! Just as excited about progress as I was!! ❤️ Emer Eye Care!!
