Eugene Eye Care Associates has cared for me through cataract surgeries and is now treating me for wet macular degeneration, and my eyesight is the best it has been in many years. Dr. Sabah and Dr. Kuhn have been superb at providing excellent care. I am especially impressed by the the large staff they have built---from receptionists to certified opthalmic associates--who greet me quickly and move me through a range of tests for each visit before I see Dr. Sabah, who is always well informed by recent results when she sees me to provide precise care. All of the folks in the office answer all my questions. If this highly popular practice is mobbed on a given day, the staff still moves me along until I see Dr. Sabah. I might wait a bit for her, but that means she's taking her time with a previous patient, and I find she takes all the time needed with me. Highly recommended.

Dr Jason Newman performed cataract surgery on my eyes and I couldn’t be happier. He is so professional and he and his staff made me feel so at ease. I will never see anyone else for my eyes. He is the best!
We have only had one appointment with this office. My five-year-old daughter’s Eye doctor moved after being seen a couple of times with him prior to the move, And we will never return. There wasn’t really anything to complain about at the appointment we went to the office was nice although I noted that the people working in the office were not very friendly, but that’s not enough to ever write a review or think twice about. My issue comes from a situation that occurred between our yearly appointments. My daughter at the time was four or had just turned five years old. She experienced a drastic change in her vision, very sudden suddenly that not only scared her, but obviously me and her father. As you can imagine if your vision changes suddenly that would be scary, especially to a young child. I called and requested an appointment As soon as I started, and I was told no that she can’t have an appointment until her yearly check up, which was probably five or six months away. They said there was nothing wrong with what we were describing and it’s just normal and she doesn’t need to be seen I pushed I formally requested an appointment. I asked to speak to the doctor which the office lady had obviously an issue with because as soon as I pushed a little stronger, she got very rude and pushed me off, saying a doctor would call me and then hung up on me. The doctor did called and once again he said the same thing no she doesn’t get an appointment and it’s fine and she can be seen at her one year appointment. It didn’t matter to the office that my daughter was panicking about her change in vision or that it was sudden, they said it happens sometimes and that’s all I got. I pushed for a couple of phone calls to try and get an appointment and honestly, I’m not just frustrated That this office apparently does not care about the well-being of their patients but its pretty gross thought people who were in the business of providing medical care to people refuse to help help a scared five-year-old and mother. I don’t care if it sounded benign or stupid or like I was a helicopter Mom, This was sudden and very scary for my daughter. She at minimum deserved a check up to determine that it was nothing or that it’s not concerning. But to refuse her care is honestly unacceptable. So I would not recommend making this office, your primary eye care location because Apparently, if you have concerns in between appointments, they won’t see you or if you have small children, maybe they just won’t believe you or take you seriously but someone who experiences dramatic and sudden vision changes deserves to be seen by an eye doctor. We’ve already switched locations to a different eye doctor and office completely and the level of care is night and day. They would absolutely schedule her an appointment immediately after me asking for one and telling them about these vision changes so do yourself a favor and make an appointment somewhere else.
Easily the worst medical practice I've ever experienced. I visited twice and encountered excessive wait times on both occasions. During my first appointment (scheduled for 4:00 PM), I waited about 30 minutes to see a technician for a brief 10-minute exam, then returned to the waiting room for another 30 minutes before an exam room became available. Once in the exam room, I waited approximately an hour to see the doctor. I gave the practice a second chance. This appointment was scheduled for 10:00 AM, only two hours after the office opened. Again, I waited about 30 minutes for a brief exam with a technician, then nearly an hour in the waiting room afterward. When I asked about the delay, I was told I was next for an exam room but would still need to wait again to see the doctor. At that point, I canceled the appointment, all future appointments, and my scheduled surgery. I understand that clinics occasionally run behind schedule, especially late in the day. What I don't understand is how a practice can be running nearly two hours behind by 10:00 in the morning. Even more frustrating was the apparent indifference to the delays. No one apologized, offered an explanation, or seemed particularly concerned about patients' time. The overall attitude came across as dismissive, as though waiting for hours was normal and should simply be accepted. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this practice.
I have thyroid eye disease for 2 and 1/2 year which has caused me to see double. Dr Sabah performed eye surgery and I am no longer seeing double!! It feels like a miracle. Everyone at the clinic was very kind and considerate. My surgery took place a McKenzie Surgery Center and I can’t say enough good things about them. I am so happy.
