had an amazing experience at LensCrafters thanks to Alex! He went above and beyond to help me when I really needed it. He was friendly, patient, and made the entire process so easy and stress-free. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about providing great customer service, and Alex absolutely does. If you’re visiting LensCrafters, I highly recommend asking for Alex. Thank you again for the outstanding service!

The office was nice and clean but other than that I was not satisfied with the care. My appt was at 1 but I wasn’t seen until 2 with no communication of why I was sitting waiting for so long. Doctor just called me back at 2 like nothing. During and after exam I had to ASK questions for information that should have been given to me. The whole appt felt rushed after I had waited an hour. Contact lens fitting fee was not explained to me prior to being seen and then they tried to Charge me an out of pocket copay for $65 and I said absolutely not! I told them they need to explain that to patients beforehand and i was just ignored. Be mindful of that before you are seen. Since Trillium does not pay for glasses I have no reason to go back, just a prescription to use elsewhere.
The overall experience was very unprofessional. The assistants acted like they didn’t want to be there and there was the whole visit felt very forced. “Head there, chin there, okay- next machine”. I’ve had better customer service at a McDonald’s where my end bill was 100x less. Then the bill… No one in the office seemed to know how to handle my insurance. Even though it’s one of the top two providers in the country. After a back and forth with 3 different assistants they finally concluded I needed to manually submit my claim (which is no big deal for me) and was told I would have my itemized bill emailed within the next 48 hours to submit. -I emailed them 48 hours later asking for it after not receiving (no response still, two months later) -I called them 4 days later (was told it takes 2 weeks not 48 hours) -I called them 2 weeks later (was told billing would sent it soon) - I called them two weeks later (was told it had been viewed by their billing department and it should be to me soon and a reminder was being sent to them.) - I called a week later and got connected with someone who said it had been sent three weeks prior. I explained I had nothing in my email. And they condescendingly walked me through how to properly check to see if I had received one. … Surprise, there was no email. So I spelled out my email thinking maybe there was a typo (there was not) and they said they would sent it again. So now… two months from the original visit I still have no bill to submit to my insurance. And have had several hundred sitting in limbo. For reference… I didn’t buy my glasses here. Just used the prescription elsewhere after the initial lack of customer service. I have already received my insurance reimbursement from the other company after receiving an itemized receipt and manually submitting. The whole process with the other company from start to money back in my account was three weeks.
My vision exam itself went well, but I had questions about my bill and requested a statement showing the total cost and how my payment at the time of service was applied. Unfortunately, I never received a return call after reaching out, and my email also went unanswered. When I followed up again, I was told the manager and billing staff were unavailable. Due to the lack of communication and follow-through, I don’t plan to return.
They accidently scheduled me for another Ophthalmologist, David Hackett, but he was great.
