Sterling Vision

Everyone who cared for Sora during his visit was wonderful. He is 12 years old and had been scratched in the eye by a cat, which was understandably scary for him. From the moment we arrived, the staff was kind, welcoming, and professional. The doctor was especially excellent. He was calm, patient, and very gentle throughout the exam. He took the time to answer all of Sora’s questions and explained everything in a way that was easy for him to understand. His relaxed, confident demeanor created such a calm environment, which made what could have been a very stressful experience feel much more manageable. We truly appreciated the kindness, professionalism, and compassionate care from everyone involved. Thank you for making a frightening situation so much easier for our family.

This is my second year with doctor Etzel and the crew at Sterling. As well as being efficient they are kind. Last summer in July Dr Etzel removed my cataracts and I can see better than I have been able to in years. I would highly recommend this doctor and his staff.

Dr. Kruid is AWESOME!! You can tell she’s super passionate and knowledgeable about what she does. Very friendly and approachable, can’t wait to see her again! I used to have a different optometrist here, but I’ve been going to Sterling Vision since I was in Kindergarten and their service and thoroughness never disappoint.

I came to Sterling because for me I needed a more upbeat optometrist in which I found that in Ayda Porkar at Sterling vision. She also explains well everything in my exam and reasoning behind it. All my concerns get answered and she never rushes you out the door. Ayda Porkar takes the time to be sure all questions are answered and explains well. I appreciate this experience and her expertise. She cares about her patients and it shows.

Every time I'm here at the Valley River Sterling Vision they are extremely busy, yet also very efficient! I respect every staff member tremendously for running around and taking care of every patients needs!! Dr. Etzel in particular has been great! He's attentive, explicit, and seems to be a really good opthomalogist. We've been making progress on my dry eyes for the first time in months. He's aware of new medications, current advancements, and is open to alternative techniques that show some scientific evidence of promise for my specific malady of the eyes.
