Eugene Wm Ng MD

I have been going to Dr. Eugene Ng for the last couple of years, first for surgical removal of pterygiums in both eyes due to years of excessive sun and salt water exposure and most recently surgery for cataracts in both eyes as well. All 4 surgeries done at Hilo Community Surgery Center and their great staff and were successful with no complications whatsoever. Dr. Ng doesn't spend time with small talk but is very experienced and highly competent.

All personnel that work here was smiling, very helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely caring for my well-being. All my questions were answered especially by Nickkie who accommodated me with scheduling the appointment, Caleb who assisted Dr. NG accordingly and the 2 clinical assistants taking eye pictures were very pleasant and professional. I will be recommending Hilo Eye Center and Dr NG to family and friends as needed. It was a truly enjoyable experience!! Mahalo nui loa!

This eye doctor and office are incredible! Well oiled machine where they get you in and out and the staff is so professional, knowledgeable and caring! I highly recommend them and am so happy that we have them here. We are very fortunate! Mahalo!

Hilo Eye Center and their team of doctors stepped in after my son had a traumatic eye and retina injury. The staff is consistently attentive, kind and professional. I only wish we had found this team sooner to support my son's recovery. I would recommend them to anyone looking to repair eye sight, retina damage and cataracts.
