I've been seeing dr carpenter for a great number of years. and had no negative experiences with him or his staff .He was always in.,ive not had him cancel on me after arriving. they can always accommodate me with appts when I ask for them...and the staff as well as Dr C are all of excellent quality in my opinion ...

One of the most difficult doctors to commit to an appointment. He’s always either “in surgery”, “on vacation”, or “leaves early on Friday”. Then when you actually DO get an appointment, it turns into a “class level” judgement. The staff views you and treats you differently when you have different levels of insurances and services needed. I wouldn’t have known this, except for the fact that my auntie went a year earlier for her cataract operation $$$$, and because she was more $ valuable to them, they treated her like queen, and then when I went for a basic exam, I got shuffled around and they took 3 other people before me that had appointments AFTER me, and the whole ordeal took almost 3 1/2 hours for me to get there and leave, and that’s when I showed up 15 minutes in advance for my appointment as asked. So, overall, I would say not to go here for getting a regular eye exam, but to only go here if you have REALLY good insurance and you’re going to be making the doctor a LOT of money. That’s the plain simple truth (whether they like it or not).

An exceptional experience with Dr Carpenter and his entire staff, most especially Celany (certain I've misspelled that...sorry)! They went above and beyond when I ran into scheduling problems. The cataract surgery was explained until I understood it, took a minute...lol. my vision is better now than it has ever been, and I still have the 2nd eye being done this month. Good people, Great service! Thank you so much!

Dr. Carpenter performed double cataract surgery on me many years ago and brought my vision back to 20/20. He is the best ever ! I would recommend him to anyone who needs eye surgery. He is gentle and caring and his great family works in his office. Great location too.
