Evergreen Eye Center

I’ve been to Evergreen Eye Center before, but this was my first visit to the Burien location since moving to Tukwila. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. There is plenty of free street parking, which made the visit very convenient. The front desk staff checked me in right away, and after completing a few questionnaires, I was quickly called in for my exam. The office was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I noticed they even had free candies available for patients, which was a nice touch. The waiting area was spacious and well-maintained, and there was a smaller waiting area before seeing the doctor. Overall, the office had a warm and professional atmosphere. Dr. Whitehead and the entire staff were wonderful. My eye exam was thorough, and Dr. Whitehead took the time to explain everything clearly. He let me know that my eyesight looks good and will be sending an update to my doctor at UW Medicine. He also reminded me to continue watching my diet and sugar intake. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and look forward to returning for my next annual eye exam.

Very happy with my first visit to Evergreen Eye Center in Burien. The reception was good, the young lady, Gloria I believe, was very personable and knowledgeable in doing various tests, and I felt very comforable with Dr. Chung and trust his expertice. I will continue to be followed for my eye care there.

I have been a patient here for several years thru cataracts, laser surgery, diabetic, glaucoma exams and procedures. Unfortunately I have to leave their care as I am moving north of the city. They have already sent the referral forward to a new clinic Evergreen has been fantastic in their care and I will miss all the doctors. I highly recommend Evergreen Clinic.

I had my second cataract eye surgery done in Federal Way this week, again by Dr. Frenkel, who is very personable and a great surgeon. This review relates to my post-operation appointment at the Burien clinic. The staff are very friendly and Dr. Matejczyk saw me for both my post surgery visits. I’ve had two eye surgeries with Evergreen in the past month and I appreciate being able to do my post-op appointments in Burien, rather than the much longer drive to Federal Way, which is a pain. If I have one complaint with the entire process is, I understand Evergreen uses a remote answering service that makes it difficult sometimes to actually get someone on the phone who is in the actual clinic. Other than that, I have been very pleased and grateful for the Evergreen staff’s care.

This was my first time visiting the clinic. The experience was great. Everyone was super friendly, the atmosphere was clean & inviting. My doctor was super nice & made me feel like I was visiting a friend. We laughed as she explained what was going on with my eyes. I highly recommend this clinic.
