Eye Associates of South Texas - Seguin

By and large this place is great. The doctors are great, the space is clean and pleasant, and the receptionists are very helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing is that they tend to interrupt people while they’re speaking. It’s weird because they’re nice about it, but you’re trying to give them info and they just start talking over you. I’ve done customer service for many years and I now run my own business where I work directly with customers every single day so I do understand the impulse to gather the information you need before letting the customer start telling you their story. But it’s just kind of customer service 101 to not do that. Waiting three extra seconds for the customer to finish their sentence is both more professional and more respectful. Not to mention simply more adult. I do recommend this place though. The doctors and techs and nurses are great and my overall experience has been terrific.

Staff very efficient and tools of the trade amazing. Only negative, the long wait to see the doctor. I have been there 2 times and both times my appointment has been at least 2 hours long or longer. Again, I appreciate their work.

I loved my experience here. Very kind and calming atmosphere. The nurses/medical assistants were all friendly and welcoming. I loved Dr.Burns. He was so kind.

I made an appointment with Dr Burns out of Seguin because no other doctor could get me in next day in my area. I made this appointment as a second opinion as my original opthalmologist's office was gatekeeping me from the doctor. They kept saying it's my sinuses after 1 appointment, which it could be but I need to know for sure before I have my bone drilled into by my ENT. I prayed really hard before I called the phone number I found on Google. The office was so kind and generous. I felt like Dr.Burns heard me and he is sending me to another specialist to get his opinion on what I should do next. I felt like Dr. Burns explained what he saw and allowed me to leave feeling like I understood everything he was saying. It was a great experience and I am so grateful for the appointment. If I need anything, I will definitely go back to his office, even if that means driving to Seguin.

It was a bit of a wait but well worth it. Everyone from front half to back were friendly and professional. The doctor was really nice and explained everything making me feel comfortable. The students in training also acted in a professional manner.
