Eye Associates of Winter Park

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at this eye care clinic from start to finish thanks to Emily and Xavier. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive. The eye associate took the time to thoroughly explain everything during my appointment and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the process. The clinic was clean, organized. I truly appreciated the level of care and attention to detail I received. It’s clear they genuinely care about their patients and providing top-quality service. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for knowledgeable, friendly, and professional eye care!

I had a wonderful visit today which is hard to say when you’re going to the optometrist. This is my second visit as I mostly just come for my yearly glasses/contacts prescription. Every staff member I met was friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The woman working the front desk reception was lovely and I think was the person to help me reschedule my appointment for sooner when an urgent event came up that I would need contacts sooner for. Angelica and Janisse were also great techs. Angelica is so knowledgeable and great at answering my many questions and following my tangents. Incredible bedside manner, this office is lucky to have her. Janisse was also very personable and kind! I’m chatty so it was nice that they were so friendly in return but I’m sure if I was less talkative they would’ve been just as friendly and professional. The staff was empathetic about the rising cost of healthcare and not at all judgmental or pushy when I said I wouldn’t be purchasing lenses at their office to save money. Overall a very positive experience and I’ll be referring this office to any friends of mine to this office for their routine eye care.

The entire office staff is so professional yet compassionate. Prior to my appointment I spoke several times with Cassandra, the office manager and also with Katherine from the billing department and both just went above and beyond to answer all my questions and make me feel comfortable about the appointment. My appointment was with Dr. Straughn and she was as thorough, knowledgeable, and caring as I had anticipated from others’ experience and recommendations. All around an absolutely excellent doctor. Thank you for your care and professional advice.

My experience with Eye Associates of Winter Park, unfortunately, started as an emergency on a Friday afternoon, and not being a regular patient of this practice. From my first call, the staff went into action. I came in and was immediately greeted by Genisis, their lovely receptionist. She took my information and then was called to the back by Evan, who immediately calmed me down and started health info, along w/eye pressure tests, pics and scans…his sense of humor was contagious and immediately I felt like I was talking to my best friend! Dr Kelly came in and I knew I was in good hands. She stayed late on a Friday afternoon to examine me and make sure of my diagnosis. I can’t say enough about this practice and my wonderful new friends that took excellent care of me. I will be returning, along w/my husband as regular patients! Thank you Dr Kelly, Evan and Genisis for your unwavering care and compassion.

I really enjoyed my visit. Very thorough. My doctor and staff really made me comfortable and understood the process for a new time glasses owner. Too bad neuro lens isn’t covered by insurance but I’d rather pay than suffer with what I’m suffering with.
