The first year I had an appointment at the Eye Care Associates on Washington St, it was 2020, and I do understand that wait times were long due to social distancing, etc. However, things have not improved as the years have progressed. I have waited up to one hour if not longer past my appointment time, and then once in the appointment, because of "slow computers," I end up being at the office for three hours to get my prescription, glasses, etc. Last year I attempted to alleviate this issue by being the first appointment of the day. I received a text saying that my appointment was at 8am, and I should arrive at 7:45am. And arrive at 7:45am I did, only for there to be a sign on the door that apparently there was a staff meeting, and the office would be opening at 8:15am. Why was I told to arrive at 7:45am? When I showed the office staff the text I received saying I should arrive at 7:45am, no one seemed to care, and I was treated like I was the problem, even though I just did what I was instructed to do. Two years ago, I was told my glasses could be picked up. I came in when the office opened and told the front desk girl I was there to pick up my glasses. I believe it was around 8:10am. I waited a few minutes and then longer, and no one called me back. I asked the front desk girl what was going on, and she said no one gets in to hand out the ordered glasses until 8:30am. Why did she let me sit down and wait for so long? Why wouldn't she have told me that when I got there and told her WHY I was there? This year I had enough and spoke to the office manager, who told me these are issues they are aware of and that they will report them. I asked to speak to someone who made these changes and she said even "they don't have the ability to contact those people." I really liked my doctor and the nurses, but I can't take three hours out of my day to go here.

Everything went excellent from start to finish. Dr Cash is absolutely great with a outstanding support staff like Amber that are also a huge part of my Vision Healthcare. The office staff does a great job as well . I recommend to everyone that I speak with about this Top Of The Line Place to attend for all you're eye care. Thanks to all of you for reading the truth at least it is my experience.
I've been coming to EyeCare Associates for about 5 years and Ben Pendergrass is my Optometrist. He's amazing... always professional, cares about his patients and even has a sense of humor, though we never want him to leave his day job 😂. Today however, i want to give a special mention about the service I received from Shana (tech). Not only does she have an infectious personality she too is professional and did something no other has done on my previous visits. Instead of having me open my eyes as she dilated them, she asked me to close them and she placed the drops in interior corners of my eyes. After she placed them she asked me to blink. I have sensitive eyes so it was ao much better than any other time and I really appreciated it. Today was a wonderful visit and Shana ia my new favorite employee second to Dr. Pendergrass 😉😘
Very professional service, only problem the lady at the second front desk was not very friendly. Other than that I was very pleased. I worked in customer service for 35 years and enured my team gave the best service. I love to observe businesses.
Over the course of thirty-six years in Huntsville, we have tried many different eye doctors. Everywhere we tried was the same. Starting with extremely long wait times. My last appointment with the other Doctor was at 4:00 pm. I walked out at 6:00 with many more people ahead of me and still waiting. That's when my daughter suggested Eyecare Associates. I set the appointment for 8:00 am, and after completing the paperwork and receiving a full explanation of the fees, I was taken back for the examination. After my exam, the Doctor returned with the results and recommendations, and I was out the door and back in my car by 9:00 am. I cannot recommend EyeCare Associates enough. You will not be disappointed.
