Very patient and understanding when interacting with children. We take all 4 of our grandchildren as well as ourselves here. The children are 9, 7, and twin 5 year olds. They all look forward to going to have their eyes checked!! Very pleasant and professional staff at this Farmington office. I'm so happy to live in close proximity! I HIGHLY recommend Eye Care of Maine--Farmington!!!
Great office staff and Dr. Gurney are worth the travel time from Bangor (and the wait time to get an appoiy like all other specialists). Today Dr. Kate Guney had to see other emergencies.... So the Optometry Technician Naveah took great care of me. She had great patient care skils, VERY knowledgeable, and appeared Very Efficient with my exam and treament of the crowded office today. Very impressed with Naveah and the rest of the staff on Farmington!
I am very pleased to have Dr. Katherine Gurney as my eye doctor for a regular check up as well as for Glaucoma. I will continue to see her for Glaucoma but if the pressure goes up a lot I will go back to see my specialist Dr. Cady for Glaucoma in Portland, ME. It will be nice to not have to travel all the way to Portland and have Dr. Gurney here in Farmington. She is very knowledgeable and professional as well as personable.
I absolutely love my physician at Eye Care off Maine in Farmington. She is always very thorough, explains things in terms I can easily understand, and is always looking at long term health and goals. She is pro-active in her approach, and treatment plan. The office staff are always super friendly, and very willing to work with you for scheduling, answering questions, etc. The Vision Center staff go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the best fit, best value, and they are super knowledgeable of vision policies and help guide you through what is covered. I couldn’t ask for more friendly, helpful, and caring people.
