During the first week of August 2026, I took my mother to this clinic for an eye examination with an ophthalmologist. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the very beginning. When we checked in, we were told that her insurance policy had not been paid. This information was incorrect. The premium is automatically deducted from my account on the first day of every month, and I showed the staff member the payment confirmation directly from my banking app. Despite providing proof of payment, we were still refused service. I contacted the insurance company that same day, and they confirmed that the policy had been paid on time and was fully active. We were subsequently given another appointment for August 27. Today, we arrived early for the appointment, hoping to make good use of our time because this clinic is frequently very busy and the waiting times can be quite long. However, we were again refused check-in, this time because we had arrived too early. I explained that we were simply trying to take advantage of the extra time and avoid a lengthy wait, but our request was not handled with much courtesy or understanding. I believe patients should be treated with professionalism, respect, and a willingness to help, especially when they are making an effort to arrive early and comply with the clinic’s requirements. Unfortunately, our interactions with the front-desk staff gave us the impression that some employees were not in a particularly good mood and, at times, came across as unnecessarily rude toward patients. If you plan to visit this clinic, be prepared for potentially long waiting times—and perhaps bring some drinking water and a snack. More importantly, I hope management will take this feedback seriously and work on improving both communication and customer service. The quality of medical care is important, but so is the way patients and their families are treated.

I took my mom to her eye appointment and there was a little miss communication. But I was so impressed that they fixed a minor issue and Dr Guerrero skipped his lunch to see my mom and honor the appointment. Because of his honest gesture, we didn’t have to come back for a later appointment. Thank you and keep having fun excellent customer service ❤️

Dr. Patel is an excellent ophthalmologist. As he is very busy sometimes the wait time is excessive, which is probably due to overbooking by the clinic staff My last visit, however, was the model of efficiency with various exams and injection completed in approximately an hour. Much appreciated!

I have kanrex in both of my eyes. My left eye is extremely bad. Where I cannot see anything. I can barely see out on my right eye. In the doctor who did my initial? I exam here was rude and ask me my history before starting the exam. I told him I was diabetic and had a 15.4 in February and now it's a 7, he then stated it wasn't charted in my my paperwork, and I told him well, I told the tech so it's not my fault at the end of the exam. He told me it's a 3 month wait to see if retina specialist which I need to see before I get the surgery in the end. I found out once I was talking to the scheduler that the doctor that they referred me at the IS institute is on vacation for three weeks. And will be coming back with a full schedule. That's why it's a 3 month wait. The PE who examined me told me that there's very few retina specialists in the valley and that's why there's a 3 month wait that doctors are wanting to lie. So I had a switch over to another doctor who was able to get me within three weeks. Now I'm lerty, almost blind and have to use voice text for everything. So I would be careful with this place in your considering. Get an exam.I have no other choice

While the wait time has been exceedingly long for reasons other than the light treatment,, the wait time for getting the light treatment to my eyes has been very appropriate. The tech Doing the treatment is very nice and supportive. The best part is that I’ve had amazing results after just two of the treatments!
